- A special video to thank everyone who has supported me this year!! And yes my series was named after Dog Nightmare by Jack Stauber!! I will be celebrating my birthday today so I decided to make something fun as my birthday gift to you! This will be my final video until the New Year where I will be working on chapter 2! For a hot second I thought the implication was that you'd brought Jack stauber back from his years of dormancy to make a song for your series. Knowing that it was already a song he made makes a lot more sense.

love how my favorite jack stauber song has a silly little analog horror (that genuinely scared my desensitized self)
Because no one else has mentioned it: if you have captions on, you get a message saying “do you think i did it?”

It's also worth noting that "Do" and "You" appear during brief flashes of nothingness on screen. And "I did it?" appears at the same time as the creepy dog face. I do think the times at which they appear hold significance, however "think" just appears during a random shot. Either this theory is useless, or the fishing dog knows more than they're letting on, and given the similar shirt to the dog from the stairs, my money's on the latter.
Edit: it's not even the fisherman dog, im just losing my mind sorry :3

This is my favourite analog horror series, I feel like its better compared to some, it feels more close to home for some reason, I used to watch stuff like this when I was little and seeing this for the first time felt really nostalgic, those weird 2000's comercials alongside the old creepypasta vibes is what I get when watching this series. Also not to mention the great editing in this series. Love it all, keep it up ❤
Honestly this series is one of the better newer analog horrors. It's really a breath of fresh air. Maybe it's the small town/stalking vibe or the uncanniness of the dogman demon thing, but it's really just a combination of elements that just work. I wanna see where this story goes.

No idea why this is so horrifically underrated. This series is genuinely one of the most unsettling I’ve ever found on RUclips..scares me to death when I think about that dog waving through the window. Yet, it’s so interesting at well. I long to see more of this!!

Edit: already commented this on a different video but i wanna get it out there, there is a lot of plaid in this entire series. From the dogs on the VHS, to who im assuming is emily in the painting, to the mystery man in the hole, and more. Scots would wear plaid to represent their families or certain groups of people. Maybe we can determine who these people are and what their cause is by the pattern and color of their plaid?

Your work gave me literal dog nightmares last night. It was a surreal experience to transition from sleep to wakefulness, the comforting fear mixed with the state of hypnagogia. I felt so weird the rest of the day, not bad just weird. I love it.

This is cool, seeing this type of horror is very new to us. We did saw many other people reacting to horror like this which is nice and being able to see this series by ourselves is also quite nice. Honestly this is fire, that and the inclusion of fan art it’s such a love letter
I hope that one moment from the previous episode where we find the dog-man does not become your only BIG moment in the series. THere don't need to be a lot of them, I'm not gonna give you a goal like it has to be 3 or 5 or whatever, but I do think you should have more than just one. That is, a moment which capitalises on the dread setup throughout the scene to scare and discomfort the viewer in a palpable way.
There is a hint for more comin I mean some of these cuts could have leaks for chapter 2 of Dog nightmares like the thumbnail and the waiter part it showed Emily looking at the episodes cover we never saw that so gotta be leaks for chapter 2 can’t wait

Really fun video and a great series! I was always creeped out by those videos as a kid so it's nice to see the dog headed human idea portrayed as creepy.
