Wonderful, informative session. Thank you so much. I purchased three quite old small Korean Hornbeam bonsai. Now I know how to move forward with them. Blessings!
@@OjaiBonsai a collaboration I’d love to see! Kevin recently spent a few days at herons bonsai, he was carving and styling some English yews…Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it
it came back after a couple minutes and it all got said again. Ryan is excellent at repeating a concept and saying it in different ways to get it across. :)

When was the episode shot?
What was the podcast mentioned in the beginning? I’m having a hard time finding it. Thanks!
On my app it's called "Bonsai Mirai: Asymmetry"
David Knaus episode was 11/2/2022
The podcasts aren't on youtube except a couple, theyre on mirai website. I wish he would put them on here.

👍👌🙂
Whatsuuuuup!!!
Is there a reason you call it "bone-sai" and not the usual "bon-sai"- or am I not understanding the pronunciation? Great video though, thanks!
Bone-sai is the more correct pronunciation.
Watch his apprenticeship video…
Main reason is because that is how the Japanese would pronounce it.
@@valentinusiganjr.2663 I haven't (yet) heard any Japanese person pronounce it like that?
maybe some regional thing.
Too much smoke no substance but I appreciate the effort !
