I don't want to sound like a boomer but I think it's the technology. Like everything was so different 10-20 years ago. But ever since smartphones and social media took over the world, it just hasn't been the same.

You know, they don’t have time to read everyone’s annotations. They just give it a look over, make sure it looks like some effort was put in, and slap a grade on it. Even for my undergrad, we had to keep a journal for the whole semester. I just started writing in cursive, then progressively started just making scribbles a quarter of the way in. Got a 100

I got a 60 on annotating a book when I was in 8th grade. The teacher was so generous because I had practically not annotated at all, but he gave me a 60 nonetheless. That same year he got fired for not being strict enough and for not making us work hard. He will be missed

The only summer reading project I ever had to do was kind of fun because one of the options was creating a music playlist/album based on the mood/theme of Lord of the Flies
I actually enjoyed creating it lol
Plus I didn’t really have to read the book because there were so many movie editions of the book already out

Wow this book was definetly read by a lot of people lol it was a book I read in 9th grade and later became summer reading for 8-9th grade summer. It was a memorable book due to the chaos.

the essay and reading is hella easy but the fact that its always in the back of your head when you do something fun is stressful
I randomly stumbled upon your channel and I’ve got to say I really enjoy it, but I’ve got a few things to improve your animation.
1. Consistency. In the place of the story sometimes the people are stickman and other
times their fully fledged people. Keeping on consistency, I’d like to say something about
the lip movements, they sometimes happen sometimes don’t, if I was you I would
use it when your in that blank background but not in the place to save time on
animation
2. Movements. When ever a character moves or talks they bounce uncontrollably and it
really takes away from the animation. Movement really draws attention to something
but this can work with small movements but those bounces are about 10 times bigger
then they need to be.
I hope you try at least one of these things in you future videos.

I love reading things (yeah, I constanly read fanfiction, but this counts too). But I just so hate summer reading. And during my final year at school (well, right before it), they made us read Heart of Darkness. Basically is kind of a psycological, but very very racist novel about some guy's journey in Congo, written in 1899. I didn't read it, obviously. But then, when we started studying it and analysing it in class (which took us 3 months, 5 hours per week, for 96 pages), I just LOVED it. Litteraly, I was sitting there, crying over the thing. It is still racist for present days, but I was actually really progressive for the times back then. And the language and all the symbols and the characters are so so so cool. But the problem is: I didn't want to read it in the first place cos they made us do it. Only because of this. Dont like when people oblige me to do something. Even if the book is actually good.
