I think it’s safe to say I formulate my opinions on how I like to play the game. I like approaching a lot, I like characters with a lot of safe options that aren’t easily punishable, and as much as some of my mains aren’t “honest characters” by popular belief I try to play them as honorably as possible. Olimar just seems to go against all of that. No hate towards Olimar mains but I just don’t know what I am doing as this character. It’s almost like
*me on the sidelines*
“Ok Olimar, try to approach, overwhelm them with pikmin throws”
Olimar: *gives me a thumbs up, runs in towards his opponent and immediately dies*
I actually have a funny story about Olimar. So one time my school held a smash bros tournament and the winner would verse the person who ran the tournament. The person who ran the tournament was an alph main and luckily I won the tournament and versed the alph main and I’ll tell you, he was the most campy Alph I’ve ever met. It ended with 3-2 and I beat him and he gave me an amiibo
The title sure does speak for itself. The potential for this character is unreal just like your skill! Keep it up bro!

Love Olimar. Definitely a top-tier in my opinion.
I don’t think he is top tier anymore but definitely the top end of high tier and of course I could easily be wrong just my opinion :)
Like this video makes him look cool but all these jab resets are down to the opposite player being bad and not knowing how to tech or just missing tech because of online or no matchup experience so not expecting to have to tech
I can see where you are coming from. He did get nerfed quite hard, but since then has had multiple buffs. Quite a few top players still say he is top tier. He is a very precise character, but powerful in the right hands. I have been playing him since Brawl.

That’s the thing about characters nobody plays. They have secret weapons nobody knows about.
Olimar: an unlimited supply of Pikmin
Duck Hunt: an unlimited supply of explosive cans, clay disks and gun men
Wii Fit Trainer: more yoga poses than they know what to do with and an unlimited supply of hula hoops, beach volleyballs and magical solar energy
Piranha Plant: an unlimited supply of spiked balls and poison breath
I don’t main any of the mentioned characters, but I do recommend using the mentioned attacks for each of the characters.

olimar is the worst character in smash

olimar's main form of attack is that he commands an army of pikmin at his beckon call so what do we need do you may say, KILL THE PIKMIN and since olimar is so reliant on pikmin on his attacks this means that hi'll loss 4/5 aerials and All of his smash attacks, plus olimar is the lightest character and without his pikmin to aid him in battle his attack are weak PITIFUL so olimar is a one-trick pony who is out of his element, deal with the pikmin then kill olimar and that's it. Therefore olimar is the WORST
@RAINLION10yes but it wouldn't help much cause that move leaves olimar open for attack and like the other pikmin, they die in just one hit. kill pikmin then kill olimar before he can think of getting them back and that's it done and done. do i need to say more
Lmao he's very, very far from the worst. Even without Pikmin (which btw he can collect very fast) he still has his stats and an amazing recovery. With Pikmin I think he's just below top tier
Little Mac has a worse recovery. Ganondorf has a slower air speed and slower ground game. They are the true worst
