Great vid mate, I'm still trying to find my first Murray Cod and may be trying into the winter. I'm surprised that it's all about big lures as I would have thought that you'd want to be more subtle with lures than what I'd use in the summer. Is the big lure approach because the Cod caught in the winter are larger on average?
Great vid. I incidentally caught my very first murray cod last weekend, was only 66cm but I was stoked. I was wondering if you can rate some victorian waterways to catch good cod? I have a kayak so any type of water would be fine.
Great video Rhys, definitely worthy of a share. Excellent advice. My mid winter tactic is to stay in bed where it's warm. Lol
Great video Rhys and really spot on with your 5 top tips. I'm off to buy some ski gear and thermals..
Good vid mate what lakes do you normally fish in the winter
