    I've looked up NCI definition, and each one has different definitions of shareholder's ownership %. Some say Less than 50%, some say more than 50% but less than 100% (like this one), and some say Less than 100%.
    THose are all very different !!!

    I think goodwill is what you're paying in excess of the fairvalue and NOT the difference between the fairvalue and the bookvalue

    Professor, I was highly considering getting an accounting degree. But when I learned about accounting automation, my mind changed. It looks like accountants with lose a lot of jobs to automation.

    I think there is a typo at 11:32, the total should be $545,000 not $525,000
