Just purchased these but the wide version as i have wide chunky feet and they're great shoes. The size adjust is the same for me i dropped half a size and they were perfect also the soles mould to your feet after a little time reducing foot movement. They're £129 at the moment and a bargain for what you get for the same price with other brands at the minute. The comfort under them is fantastic its so sturdy and the front toe spike is perfect for slippery winter days here in the UK
The one major gripe with the Tour X was the inside heel spike, always clipping the back of my ankle when I was walking. Because it's plastic, it was mighty painful and you're stood there like Peter Griffin going "Sssss haaaaaa, SSsssss, Haaaa" as the pain subsided.
🤣🤣🤣 That’s a good point about the padding (or lack of) on the heel of the tour X - I noticed it when I compared them side by side, but I forgot to mention it. These are fully lined 👍
Help me. I get excited whenever you drop a new shoe review. Great review that is performance oriented. I don’t understand why manufacturers continue with the back strap, not my preference. I like that Nike Polo that you’re wearing, BTW.
Treated myself to a pair of these in the BOA version. Must say I’ve worn adidas, mizuno, Nike and puma and these shoes are the best I’ve worn by FAR! Amazing comfort, amazing stability and fit perfect 👍
I'm.in the market to purchase some swag kicks to use this summer. What's the best spikeless shoes and more towards looking like sneakers. I like en abit more wide in the front and usually don't play in heavy rain either. Want to complement my ecco biom which I've owned for soon 8 years still going strong. Love them shoes the fit and comfort is outstanding. So what would u recommend for me to look at?
Thanks for watching! Off the top of my head I'd say take a look at the Ecco C4 - I haven't tried them yet myself, but they have more of a trainer look and you know you like the fit of Ecco's already (which tend to have higher arch support and wider toe box than other shoes) If you want a more 'casual' sneaker, the Footjoy Stratos have a similar fit to Eccos...they're really well made, but I wouldn't call them 'swag kicks' - ruclips.net/video/HDpGZ8MUhcs/видео.html A cheaper alternative are the Mizuno G Style in Navy - Can pick them up very cheap in the UK at the moment, nice wide fit, classic look, but not quite the same quality at the FJ Stratos, but your paying less than a third for them -ruclips.net/video/H_QPyEU74jU/видео.html Most decent trainer style golf shoes have quite a narrow fit, so you options are a little limited. The Adidas Retro cross is very comfortable, but I wouldn't say it offers much in the way of stability if that's what you're looking for. Check out my review of the Under Armour HOVTR Tour SL - have knitted upper, a little more room in the toe than other UA shoes, and they come in a wide option that you might want to consider, they don't quite have the 'sneaker look', but a top performing spikeless shoe with a knitted upper - ruclips.net/video/YwG_SJbbtcE/видео.html Hope that helps :)
Great stuff! Was wondering if you had Cole Haan golf shoes on the timeline anytime soon? I wonder how they feel on the course. Or any Ecco shoes (sponsored by Rick Shiels).
Thanks for watching. I actually have a pair of Cole Hann shoes for review, the classic looking ones. But I have a little bit of a back log at the moment of shoes to get through. I would like to review the Ecco H4 but haven’t got round to buying a pair yet, and I know they tend to have a very high arch which isn’t great for me
The Tour X and Premiere Series are the best looking shoes I think FJ has released recently. These and the Pro SL carbon truly seem like cosmetic steps in the wrong direction - and this is someone who will only wear FJ!
Hi. Just noticed on your website your links are not hyper links. Ie: not clickable ? You might wanna check as you’ll be losing tons of views and sales. Good luck with your channel
Thanks Carl, that's very odd. Not touched the website for a little while, don't have enough time to optimise SEO with that website as well as focus on the RUclips channel so I just put all my effort into this at the moment, especially when most of my RUclips videos are Ranking on google anyway, and I'll deal with the webpage later 😬
Definitely my left foot is the 1 that blisters as it’s more of a 6 1/2 where my right is a 7 and I’m 6ft tall 🤦♂️ Always have to slip in my Pro SL’s after 5 holes and they are like slippers
@@GolfGuyReviews Yes seen them online, they do look good and are a very good price, but not seen them in a store yet to try them on, but I will be looking for them.
I purchased footjoy pro sl shoes 6 months ago, £160, and can honestly say, they are the worst shoes I have ever had. Yes, they are comfortable but poor design means they leak even in just a morning dew. I've been playing for over 30 years so I've had a lot of shoes. I would not go near footjoy again.
Can’t say I experienced that problem, but the tongue doesn’t have a gusset so there is a chance for water to get through when walking through tall grass
Definitely less visually appealing than the previous year. By no means an ugly shoe, but footjoy is definitely targeting the audience seeking an all-out performer. They offer plenty of other models that really check all the boxes for style on the course.

Great review… never thought a shoe 👠 could make such a difference… bought these footjoys absolutely class great stability .
Thanks so much Aiden, really appreciate it 👍 looks might not be for everyone, but I’m a big fan of the comfort and stability

£129 is a cracking price! Great spot! And yes, brilliant for uk winter golf 👍

@@GolfGuyReviews I bought the Alpha earlier. Cheers for the review.

😂 Well at least I know one person is enjoying them! Thanks Eddie! I grabbed the shirt in the sale at the end of the year, it’s from last season 👍

Great to hear Liam! Thanks for watching 🙏
So excited for that Next% review, I just bought my pair with the Boa lacing system. They released in the US this week 🔥
Nice the Boa hasn't launched over here yet. Will try to get the Next% review out soon
Thanks for the info Kevin, keep it up. I've never owned a pair of footjoy and I wouldn't even know where to start if I was to get a pair.
Thanks Danny, maybe there's a video idea in there for me :)

I would love to see the dual boa review after seeing you enjoyed the single boa on the hyperflex. Great info and breakdown.
Thanks Cory! Hoping to get hold of a pair soon 👍 I gotta admit, I don’t see how it’s worth the extra money…. It will have to try them for sure
@@GolfGuyReviews It'll be a great video to let us all know. Everyone is wondering whether it's a gimmick or the next level for golf shoes.
Thanks for sharing Kevin
No worries Raj :) Hope you had a good week

I was lucky to get a pair of the FJ Premiere Garrett Leight shoes...can't wait to wear them on the course!
Thanks for watching and comments Jordan!

Still wearing mine in
Getting heal blisters 🤬
🤦♂️ shows how our feet are all different. Pro SLs give my heels blisters, but these were fine for me

Great review as usual Kevin. Think I prefer the PRO SL for looks and they are very comfortable and cheaper.
Thanks Mark 👍 Have you seen the new Pro Sl sport that was released last week?
@@GolfGuyReviews Yes seen them online, they do look good and are a very good price, but not seen them in a store yet to try them on, but I will be looking for them.
I loveeeeee tour X design fkin love it so much
no triple boa review there?
Not yet… it sure I need all that BOA 🤣👍
@@GolfGuyReviews from the looks of it, you can't have enough boa??? Don't think there is a single proper review of the shoe on RUclips

Yeah great point Rob, FJ have got their best line up for a long time, so they're probably comfortable with the styling of this on that basis.
I have a pair of tour x. I have to say I’m not impressed
I thought the tour x looked great, but these are more comfortable for sure

And john daly plays in bare feet!
I thought he plays in Sqairz? (which claim to be the most stable shoe around)
