@LET'S DIN IT! Thank you so much, this meant a lot. When my parent got married 58 years ago their first house was 16 princess street (their anniversary was 6/25) They just watched the video together, now I hear laughing and conversations of remember when, remember him/her... anyway this was perfect timing and I appreciate all three of you... THANK YOU!!!
Good video... WOW the beginning of Princess Street changed a lot. I do not recall Central school on Princess Street. Guess that is where it moved to after the fire.
Nice video of Princess Street. Some nice homes there. The road is in excellent shape. That's a good thing. Whenever you get to the Thomas Street request the Lot# is 253 Thomas Street at Quamina, (on west side) Safe drives family. Thanks.
I remember back in the day we used to climb those coconut trees in the cemetery and pick those coconuts, we had to be careful because there was a ranger by the name of Peter on his bicycle, he was well known among the st Stephen's school boys. If you were caught, he would report you to the headmaster, that was six lashes for sure.
Actually, if you check, you will discover that the street was named in honour of Princess Margaret. The name was ‘ Princess’ , not ‘Princes’ street. I guess someone who could not spell, made the error when doing the street signs. I lived at 25 Princess street, at the corner of Lyng street.
Hey Dave, we did only Diamond main road. The video is at this link: ruclips.net/video/xcG_nku5Wws/видео.html . However, we will definitely, do all the roads in an upcomming video.
I’m not sure where Princess Street is but I recall there was a big cemetery around Le Penitence or Le Repentire. Lots of relatives buried there. My dad used to say someone French had killed his brother accidentally a long time ago and was sorry. That’s how they got those sad names. Don’t really know if it’s true. Thanks for the drive. I clicked on the ad so hope it works out.

Prices street was named after KIng George III son’s Prince George who later became King George IV. Wonderful video - thanks for the drive.
Thanks for the info!
