  • A safe and secure way to haul motorcycles in the bed of a truck. Built from Home Depot materials with no welding, this DIY wheel chock can be customized to haul dirt bikes, street bikes, or cruisers. It attaches to the factory rail in a Toyota Tundra or Tacoma but can be customized to fit other truck beds also. Two versions are shown, one for a Honda Trail 125 (CT125) and another for a Suzuki DRZ400.

    Looks great. Why not aluminum? No need to paint and no corrosion.

      Aluminum would be a good choice, but you would need to use 3/16" thick 6061-t6 to get the same strength. Home Depot doesn't sell 6061, it's all 6063, which isn't as strong.
