This is more dark than it's edgy. Something edgy is dark because why not, and could otherwise be perfectly fine. Since this video is somewhat a horror short, it's just dark.
This channel is such a gem. The stylistic minimalism is such a treat and seen in everything from the artstyle, lack of dialogue, and even the cryptic name.

@@begotten_ Wow, you hit the nail on the head! I don't know why I haven't considered Silencer, yet thought this might be something from Nattramn's side-project "Diagnose: Lebensgefahr". Thank you, now my mind is at peace.
Analysis of these videos I made because I have developed an unhealthy obsession with the story. Entry:46 | Playlist:Nightmare | Numerical Place:15 | Date released:October 14 2022 Notes:The song that plays is The Slow Kill in the Cold by Silencer. The music’s title fits very well with what happens in the video. If you pay attention, the wound when Vic is on the ground is different to the one she got when she grabbed the snowflake, the latter is on her wrist. The text says “This nightmare is just beginning”. Interpretation:From this point on,Shadow’s full body is almost never shown,at least in Nightmare, the one time we see his whole body,it’s at a distance. As if his influence is from far away, but he still lingers in Vic’s mind. If my theory that this section of Nightmare takes place after Insanity and Way Back Home is correct, then the text might indicate that even with our Shadow directly present, she will still suffer because of him.
Well, I see you're a man of culture as well. As of late , I have also gained an unhealthy obsession with this channels story and was wondering if we could work together on this.
Also something interesting to note about the album the song comes from, supposedly the singer self-harmed himself by cutting his hands and wrist during the recording of it. In the video, the character gets cut on their hand and then shows their wrist was cut, which seems to parallel what the singer did. So maybe the video is meant to represent self-harm.

Whoa...what can I say but how amazing this is! The animation and soundtrack is great, the climate of suspense is amazing and now it seems that a new that there is something new awaiting in the future! About what's the theory behind this, it seems that our protagonist will face something much terrifying than the others, a new nightmare that they will suffer, and perhaps a new or a familiar mysterious figure assisting in the protagonist's suffering, maybe this is a teaser of what's to come but we don't know much of it, after...this nightmare is only beginning. Amazing work, I Can't Sleep! Honestly, you're one of the best content channels out there! EDIT: Sorry for this edit but I think maybe I've noticed something. The music playing in the backround is called "The Slow Kill in The Cold" by Silencer, and what happened here was the slow death of our protagonist in the snow but I think the snow didn't kill her since the sharp piece of snow landed on her hand and then she is slashed in the wrists, maybe by the mysterious figure in the end, refering the name of the music playing, she was slowly killed in the cold by the mysterious figure. Maybe I'm wrong or too far fetched about this, but this what I think happened. If you want, you can comment about your interpretation about this. Until then, thank you for reading this edit! :D
