Chris Stainton on keyboards, Alan Spenner bass, Henry McCullough guitar, Bruce Rowlands drums. I don't know who the percussionist was - but if anyone can identify him, I will love you forever!
J'ai eu la chance d'assister à ce concert de Joe Cocker en 70 au Midem à Cannes !! J'avais 19 ans et j'habitais à 2 pas du palais des festivals . Quelle époque !
@joecockerthelionofrock6858 NOT the full concert (46 minutes!) - maybe I should upload it, as I've got it in its entirety (and without jerking picture).
Absolutely brilliant. Nobody else could sing like Joe!
The best version of "The Letter" I've ever heard. Damned shame that Joe and the Grease Band didn't stay together longer and make more great music.
What a find this is. He has his Woodstock boots on here. 'Just like a woman' is intense and beautifully done.
Joe era un loquillo adorable y un gran músico y cantante extraordinario ❤❤❤
Like someone else comments this was absolutely brilliant version of the letter Joes voice was at his best cocker power the world

I think this is the best recording of the "early" Joe years. What a lovely combo behind him. Is there a part one?
Could you tell me where I can find Astrud Gilberto's show at MIDEM 70?
