Girrrrrl I feel you on the grommet issue. My heatmat is now sequestered to the top of my milsbo wide and I’ve also got scratch marks galore from the circular drill bit 😭

Another way to smooth out the rough hole for the grommet would be to use a rotary grinding wheel that is powered by your electric drill. Good job. I enjoyed the video.

With regards your heat mat can’t you just replace the plug? Also, putting tape on an item before drilling helps against the drill slipping.
