Hi, my name is Michael Nielsen. I'm a composer/producer. I write music for movie trailers, video game soundtracks, commercials, movies and tv shows. Sounds ballsy. It would be cool to A/B this against a Suhr SL67. I think either amp could do a Plexi fan proud (I have a Suhr but I also have a Friedman JJ Jr. and both companies are great!).

Really great demo as always, Michael! You, Pete Thorn, and Leon Todd are my go-to channels for these types of demos. For the really super high gain stuff, John at Sonic Drive Studios is also amazing.

I like how when you demo stuff you write a cool tune and then riff on it for a bit and then write an awesome solo on top so that by the time you've finished playing I already want the gear and am just sticking around for the specs and maybe some more riffing. Some other channels will do it backwards and then I start looking around to see if you or Pete Thorn got it lol.

Your demos are the best on YT. I just watched others by Pete and Dave and was thinking, pretty cool. Click on your video and I am thinking take my money already. And I don't know if your Jeff Beck vibe stuff is inspired directly by him or those he influenced, but it still equals tasty as all heck. 🙂
That's some beautiful classic tones coming from that beautiful box. Maybe have a comparison with the Magnatone Slash head.
Great review - This is some of the best "Plexi Crunch" tones I have heard on RUclips - Maybe you mentioned it but what IR where you using - It had great attack on it

That sounds brilliant...Of course the master on 10 it is perfection but that master volume is incredible, because you can be at bedroom level and still retain 90% of THAT tone which is huge. Great great job!!!. Excellent demo Michael. BTW which IR were you using?

Sounds like a Plexi should! Love it! I guess you will need another amp to go for a wet dry! Probably the best dry amp you could have!
