I had been dreaming of creating something like this for skydive training as you could replay to a trainee their last/recorded skydive to better assist in instructional critique. Really well done!! Thanks so much for the code and instructions on interfacing with unreal engine...Mad Props!!
Very nice! i had a similair idea but i guess you are way ahead of me :D. Can i sugest you to use simple ethernet cables and RJ45 connectors, these are cheaper and simpler to get by and have 8 pins, use 2 for ground and voltage, and you have 6 pins over, 2 for hand 2 for forearm, 2 for base (this would be 1 body part) and these all connect to the multiplexor. for all limbs it would be 12 sensors + 3 for: hip torso and head so in total 15 sensors for each 3 sensors you can use 1 multiplexor for each body part: Larm, Rarm, Lfoot, Rfoot, BodyBase.
Thanks for the comment. Yes Ethernet cable is the best option to connect 3 sensor. I will check how can I do that. But for now I have connected using rj11 cable. Will release the video soon.
GY85 Haven’t test it yet. Sensor are shortage in the market. I want to test bno085 first as per Bosch this is more stable and accurate. Will definitely look at the other options to reduce the overall cost
I can add gps tracking in it but for my use case it is not required. I will be implement gps tracking for virtual world. If you could share your use case I can guide you in that I am getting the circuit board build so adding gps tracking will be easier. Please stay tune for the next one Thank you for visiting
@@others-makingofrpgvideogam4262 tracking camera movements requires sensitivity much higher than GPS. It needs sub centimeters accuracy and high update frequency. I think Hellcrest Labs did it already with BNO085. Look up CEVA Hillcrest VR

Great job and thank you very much
Thank you 🙏🏻

Also a much cheaper sensor would be GY-85 but i dont know if its better or worse.

That's pretty cool. Thanks for this. Anything for tracking location?

Will implement the gps in the mix soon. Please stay tune
