My wife is 34 weeks pregnant and she’s experiencing this problem. When she gets home from work today, I’m digging in! Thanks for posting this I’ll update later this evening.
Thank you!! I thought it was a bad ground or something like that but sure enough it's the ignition. Note to people in the comments if your ignition is going out you can insert the key in a faster and more forceful way and it'll still start (at least as a temporarily)
My si been doing this for about 2 years now, ive gotten really good at turning the key just right lol but ive had a couple times now where it absolutely refuses to start even after like 50 tries. Even the buzzing hasn't been occurring lol Gonna order one of these and try it out man, thanks for the video.
First off. It's my luck that it happened to turn really cold once the part finally showed up 😂 Should have ordered the oem part off Amazon and got it in a day or two but before I even looked there I had already purchased from rock auto and had to wait for delivery. Another helpful note is to pull the steering wheel all the way out and down so the column panel pulls off easier. I used a #2 Phillips bit and a 1/4" wrench to get the screws out. But car now starts first try without the buzzing so I'm gonna say this was a success. Thanks again for the video
@@bradjkahle I'm sorry to hear that. Check battery and starter. You might also need a deeper diagnostic than youtube land! Thanks for commenting. If you figure it out. Please report back to help others!

It was exactly what this video stated. Fixed. Get a 90° Philips screw driver. Will see you some time and finger strength
@ryanwinder1160 thanks for updating! Glad this video was able to help you
