It’s such a shame that there is almost no financial literally all the way through high school and elementary school many more people would learn about the power of compound interest
But the video said something about students being taught exponential growth in 9th, and 10th grade. And some are taught this in college. But yet it doesn't matter because they didn't see the value in it, and they never applied it in real life.

In germany, there is no financial education in the school, too. Many people say, it is the job of the parents, to teach their children financial education. But I ask me, how should the parents teach it, if they didn‘t learnt it from their parents and how should these parents had learnt it?

This is a topic that people SHOULD know, and it’s application can make you wealthy. As a fee based financial planner, my income is tied to exponential growth (compound interest). 20 years ago, as a 23 year old, I only made about $16k, but I’m still earning fees from those original exponentially growing accounts. Now, 20 years later, I have a 7 figure income, multiple employees and offices, and love helping people become financially secure. This topic is HUGELY important!
I still think building your income source is more important than investing little money..if you had bought 1 BTC then sure you'd have at least 7 figures but imagine someone that bought 100 BTC the person would obviously be multi millionaire

The biggest reason the poor likely don't invest is they don't make enough to pay basic living cost. We need shelter and food the poor sometimes have to skip eating or is late paying rent where are they going to come up with a 1 dollar to invest. All they do is work work work at the end of the day it should we pay this bill or that one is there any money to at least buy a box of Ramen. This basic knowleage isn't in schools the same as we don't need to tell people they should wipe their butt and how thats done. Money doubling is something a preschool can naturally understand but people that are at risk of dying today is more concern with what they have to do now.
Finance is a fundamental life skill, yet most people seem to ignore it when they need to embrace it.

A lot of people approach investing like gambling - in a completely speculative way. They don’t understand or have the patience to benefit from exponential growth.
I felt like sharing this with someone! You can't give up today because no one believes in what you do. the person who should have the utmost believe in what you do is yourself. I am who I am today because of the decision in investing in Crypto currency, now I've achieved great success and I believe you can also.
But it's surprises me, after watching several RUclips tutorial videos about trading I am still making losses, please I seek for a better website.

@C dL -- I think what they meant to say was how investment money compounds. This may lead to growth but not necessarily exponential growth.
I believe < that the inflation is already priced in crypto market since the end of last year. These manipulative rats are always 2 steps ahead of everybody because they are market makers. Those who hold the longest will profit the most, I trade and hold profits keep up the great work! and also Stanley Jun has been doing a great job reviewing all chart, trade and techniques on BTC which has enhance the growth of my portfolio to 17 BTC lately
Everyday people keep asking "should i buy bitcoin now? should i sell now?" i always say the key to making money from bitcoin is understanding it first, then learning when to buy, trade and take profit.
All my family and friends do not understand what it means to own some (!) BITCOINS.....

This video makes me feel better since i am surrounded by Job seekers . I want to do business but they will try to give me 10 stupid reasons why not to do so.
They also don't teach the fact that investing has a natural ebb and flow so you have to be prepared to invest for the long term rather than trying to become an overnight millionaire. If they taught that it's normal for markets to have corrections and that there are always going to be periods of recession then that might help too as people would have a sense of perspective on things and realise the ups and downs are part of the course just like you recognise that it takes a certain amount of time to drive to a particular destination, so patience along with a good plan is required to reach your financial destination.

Actually often times poor people truly aren't making enough to meet their needs and also save and invest. Perhaps they think they have enough, then suddenly life happens and they have to put money out for a car repair, a hospital bill etc

The education system has the most responsibility why people often reach adulthood with little ability to do well in life.
Don't worry, they'll just throw more money at it rather than being smart about fixing it.

Okay, so this video is very uplifting and semi informative. But if you’re here to motivate people and giving them some guidance on exponential growth, why withhold information that can help everyone? I.e the end of the video, it was said 2/3 of the best companies to invest into for 2022 are tech companies. Why not just share the name of the tech companies and help others invest now? Or hey, why not just share all 3 companies so everyone can invest get the head start?

Almost all investing involves some degree of risk. This video says nothing about that. It's unlikely that a stock would increase in value at this rate (or that it would increase at all) exponentially because of business cycles and other factors. Even gold prices fluctuate. Knowing when to sell (gold or any other stock) is unpredictable Even wealthy investors have suffered some very bad times and lost a lot of money. If the value of your stock never went down then this video would be correct, but that's not reality.

What u Called it exponential Growth, I called Compund Effect of investment in Business with Different dimensions of business at a time.
I apply this concept after watching ur video and Read books on compund effect in my business, I start business with investment 8500Rs then n next 4 years I reach my Business till 1.25 crore in 2020. Trust me its work out always with sharp eyes on business and investment.
The part that the video missed is the fact that in a consumer based economy a financially literate populace is useless. This economic model requres that people spend, spend big and take on debt. It is not in the interest of the system to teach financial literacy. No one would buy anything. Capitalists and the wealth make their money on fools who squander theirs. It's just that simple. I didn't learn this until I read some books on building wealth. I always said to my children, don't buy the product, buy the stock.
2x on an investment is not realistic, the s&p 500 returns 10% a year, maybe after many years of compounding you'll double your money.
And she was speaking about going beyond doubling your original investment per year. She was saying you're going to double what you already doubled, and then double that.
I was always taught that experience was not the best teacher, but it was the surest.

Good points but many people aren’t active investors. The average person who puts aside money or invests wants to put money in and forget about it. Sadly if there’s not a good return after a year or five they stop

Simply because the capacity to participate in such exercises is low to none in the socio-economic status in question. If everybody participates, where will the growth come from?
