I am so grateful I found your blanket to make! I’m currently on my 4th square (I’m making 1 of each to know how to do the stitches and I’m never going to chain again now that you have taught me foundation chaining! Omgsh what a game changer this is!! I’ve seen it before from a few other people and never really understood it until your tutorials!!! Thank you for this! And btw your blanket is gorgeous! I’m making mine a little altered. I’m using hue+me in 6 colors so I’ve had to change my counts but still making 7” squares that turn into 8” once the boarder is added and in love so far!

Im an intermediate crocheter and yet I still found she was going through this tutorisl way to fast. I had to put the speed of the video slower just to understand some of what was going on.

I purchased the textured fun blanket crochet pattern off etsy. I've been doing the crocheted squares and I find the 11 rounds suggested for this zig zag square to be a lot larger than the other squares in this project. I'm using the same string that was suggested as well as the 5.5 mm hook for this pattern. I took the rounds down to 9 instead of the 11 so it matches the same size of the other squares. Is there an reason why it's larger than the others as I thought they all had to be the same size?

Not trying to be negative, but it may benefit some of us to give the other foundation chain instructions. You wouldn’t need to do a tutorial; just the number of stitches in the foundation row and then the sc across. Nevertheless, thank you for the video...it’s a beautiful stitch.

My guess is 4 plus 2 for the boarder edges although I could be incorrect lol
