for anyone following along, she mentions to put the file into RGB to get the "best print quality". this is actually not true, if you are making for print, make sure to switch from RGB to CMYK. This will get you the best print quality as printers are unable to print in RGB. Only use RGB if you are creating something for screen only.
Oh wow. I was really just looking for a way to put a bunch of rectangular pictures on a photoshop page - This has upped the game considerably! Thank you so much.
Ommmmggg!!! Thank you so much Zoe for making this video. It helped me so much because I never had learned this in school. I've been teaching myself and I can't wait to make my some mood boards. You are literally saving lives on this channel one video at a time. Hope you are feeling well... ❤❤❤
Wow! This is so great! I followed her courses in illustrator and photoshop from lynda.com I had no previous knowledge on those softwares. Now I even earn money from providing services like drawing flats, creating range boards. So glad to find her here!
this video was simply excellent! The explanations were super easy to understand and not daunting like other tutorial videos I've watched before. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant video. Im not from a fashion designer background but need to present clients with interior fabric options. Exactly the same principle. I wish there was a Zoe Hong for the interiors trade. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this video, I really needed it! I just started fashion school and my teachers are constantly giving us Photoshop assignments despite us not getting a class on it until next year. I've never touched Photoshop in my life so it's been really difficult for me.
Awesome and so helpful! I had been ready to give up on making mood boards in photoshop because they just weren't turning out right but this helped me figure out a lot of the problems I had with it. A question though, a lot of the time I find a good image and it's too small. If I size it up that loses a lot of the quality, which I need because I print all of my mood boards out. Any way around that?
That's a very common problem. You can't change the resolution of your images so you need to search for higher res images. On way of doing this is to use the size option when doing a Google search. Another is to use sources that offer high quality free royalty-free images. I used Pexels.com
try to enlarge the zoom of your pc by simulating an opening C shape with your index and thumb on the sensitive pad of your pc (if you have a pc) or by adjusting settings on your search engine, then screenshot it, then get the zoom back to normal.
Shannon you have to source images that are higher in resolution. Unfortunately there are a lot of low res images when you do your google search. You can adjust your search to filter for higher res images.
this video could not have came out later... goddammit zoe tmrw will be the last day of my design class and i would've found this video _very helpful_ about like.. 4 months ago

At this point I think Zoe is literally telepathic... when I’m in need of something, a neatly packaged 40 minute explanation appears
for anyone following along, she mentions to put the file into RGB to get the "best print quality". this is actually not true, if you are making for print, make sure to switch from RGB to CMYK. This will get you the best print quality as printers are unable to print in RGB. Only use RGB if you are creating something for screen only.
Yeah. I thought that’s what Zoe said too.
Oh wow. I was really just looking for a way to put a bunch of rectangular pictures on a photoshop page - This has upped the game considerably! Thank you so much.

Photoshop version ??
Why is no one using Affinity? So much simpler than adobe and not expensive like adobe is.
I've heard good things about Affinity but Adobe is the industry standard and teachers won't teach something that aren't the industry standard.
Smh the new photoshop has changed all of the first minute around.
