Behringer owes you on this one. Cheers!
Thank you! At last I found video with examples of using patches in TD-3 MO! :D
Dankjewel! You are the first I see who goes deep into explaining the patchbay 🎉
Excellent video. Thank you!
Many great ideas, thank you!
Thank you for this!
Excellent video thanks mate!
Thanks! I have to try these on mine, long time not used it.
Cool video, thanks!
Great video, thanks
Thanks man!
Thanks!
Veel dank en groeten aan Nederland.
Groeten terug 😄
Hey! Thank you for this video! Helpful!
Btw why you press the function button to select the sequencer mode?
You can press just two buttons on the right side (Back+Tap) without function button.
Thanks, ah didn't know that, thanks for the tip 👍
great video thanks! Do you know if the CV input is 1V per octave? I read in the Sound On Sound review that you would only cover 2 octaves with the CV input.
It is 1v per octave, the range isn't huge but it should be more than 2 octaves. I'd need to check it to be sure though
@@optoproductions Great thanks. Pls let me know regarding the octave range if you get a chance to check 🙂
Great video...one thing I'm not sure though. Does the CV Output send the slides or not? Would be a shame, if you cant make the typical acid lines on other gear via the TD-3 Sequencer. The way it sounded with the Erica VCO, there where no slides. Could you confirm that?
Yes, that definitely works, just confirmed it!
@@optoproductions thx mate...just weird that the Erica VCO didnt slide, where as when you raised the volume on the TD again to compare them, the TD clearly slided.
@@philipguillaume4320 maybe the decay was too short to notice it properly 👍
Can you run the internal sequencer but gate it externally for instance from a korg sq1 this could be a great way to create variations on a sequence
Yeah I don't see why not, patching the gate input wouldn't interfere with the sequencer, but I'd have to try it to be 100% sure. I'll make a short about it next week. 👍
@@optoproductions thanks for the reply
Yeah, and all of this together with the usage of some attenuators could have been interesting AND MUSICAL.
I don't make music, just bleeps and bloops 😄
Hey man did you know how to sound the td3 from the pianoroll of ableton ? I try and is so cool but i can t find a working tutorial on how we can put slide and accent from there, this will be really cool !
Yes this is pretty simple, just make the notes overlap to add a slide and turn up the velocity for an accent.
I try but the velocity isn t giving me the accent, only the overlap make the slide but i cant slide like same bass note each time if i try to go foward to overlap the next note disappear, i try to understand why
@@Zillatek you can download the behringer editor to see which velocity the accent becomes active at. Slides won't do anything when you slide to the same note ofcourse. I'll see if I can make a short about it. 👍
@@optoproductions It will be helpful for sure there are 0 video that explain clearly how to replicate accent and slide same as td3 sound with the ableton pianoroll, a lot of ppl didn t even know about this possibility
But why does the sync in NOT just sync the RD-6 with the TD-3? What was it doing in this video? It SHOULD play the drum machine and the bassline at the same time and tempo
With a TRS cable you can, but not with a TS cable.
So when sending out gate and CV it doesn't also send the slide? @7:02
Slide is part of CV, in this example I had a short gate on the Eurorack module so you couldn't really hear it.
@@optoproductions That's what I was thinking, I did notice the decay was very short on the other synth. Cool, thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Great video!
When i press start i still dont hear anything. But if i am in pitch mode i do hear my notes seperatly. Anyone a cleu what it could be?
Thanks.
Maybe you need to set the clock to internal?
@@optoproductions the instuctions sais there should be a light flashing once its ready to put in a patern. In mt td3 there is no flashing light?
@@rl2183 mine only flashes while it's paused, not when I'm entering notes
Some jam with some TD3 patch?
What's the question? You want me to make a jam video?
@@optoproductions yes, please!
Sync DOES include Start and Stop.
With a mono patch cable? Even if it did stop the clock signal, you still need to press start on the slave unit.
@@optoproductions I´ve read (but not yet tested) that sync in is stereo, so that should combine clock and run. Can´t verify at the moment, but if you find the time.....
@@acdnrg ah yeah that could work, I'll check when I'm back in the studio 👍
