In my opinion, it was and could still be the last remaining weakness for Baltimore. Specifically, against elite TE's running seam and cross routes. I would like to see Stephen's in the slot more. When teams go 3x1 I hold my breath as I know they are coming after him. The key will be shutting down the run and keeping Josh in the pocket.
4:05 there, you nailed it: why I've always hated Russ' moon balls. They're _So Easy to defend_ it's amazing that he ever had success in the NFL. They float. There's plenty of time for a S to wander over & make a play. It's just that NFL teams as a whole prefer not to defend that way. But since Russ doesn't throw up the middle, it's insane that they haven't adapted strictly to him this way. But none of this excites me. What here will work against the Bills? I tend to spot things everyone else misses. One is that Brady has stopped allowing Allen to throw deep over the middle. It's why he's had fewer INTs. If the Ravens can be aggressive on D & force receivers inside, that's where KH14 is. As a fun aside, the Bills smartly did the opposite of this week two: they forced the Dolphins' receivers _outside._ They finally noticed what I had. Due to his weak arm, Tua can't throw down the sideline for great lengths. It takes away the advantage of having Tyreek & Waddle. (I don't know why they didn't do this their 2nd meeting). Brady has been so against throwing over the middle both Bills' TEs have drastically under-performed. Allen does _not_ respond to pressure as well as people think. He's clutch, yes. But adjusting to the game plan being taken away messes with him & he panics, at least at first. The strategy would have to be complete & have a second set of plays for when the Bills adjust, but throwing Allen off his game would be _HUGE._ It will reduce how many points they score by at least 2 TDs.
