    I am so shocked. Allah made us to worship Him. A Muslim is a person who submits his or her wishes to the wishes of Allah willingly. And Allah definitely doesn’t want a Muslim to do fashion shows. Muslim women are not for display.Hijab doesn’t mean a pice of clothing on the head. Read the verses of Sura Noor 30-31 to learn about hijab.

    But if a women show her beauty, than how she is modest? The main point of wearing hijab is from being safe from male lust, But if models looks beautiful in hijab with makeup on, how that is modest?

    • @fatimamohamed7390
      @fatimamohamed7390 Год назад

      Exactly my point. Why are Muslims looking for acceptance and accreditation from nonMuslims when it is Allah they should look to. These environments are not for Muslims. Putting hijab on the runway is not promoting hijab. It's promoting a dress style. Hijab is more than how you dress. Exposing yourself to the world even dressed modestly does not protect you from others having inappropriate thoughts about you. These ladies are misrepresenting Islam and hijab and are just fooling themselves. Stories of Islam and hijab and women can be told without getting onto the runway. But since these ladies are designers and want a greater customer base for their products, they will promote it with these excuses of being the ones who have to teach the greater public what hijab is.
      In the Western world, being a model is considered objectifying yourself whether male or female. Haven't these ladies considered that walking the runway is objectifying themselves which goes totally against their argument.
      How many males are they exposing themselves to personally in that environment. How many males are watching them online on the runway and in other places.
      Western brands making and promoting modest sportswear and other items do it only because they realise that there's big money in it otherwise they wouldn't touch it at all. Our Muslims will support these big brands who do a lot of anti-Islamic stuff involving their brands and products but won't support a Muslim brand that has the same/ similar products and in many cases had them first.
      Apparently for some, being a somebody in the unIslamic world for a Muslim carries a lot of weight.
      Similarly in the movies, music, sport, arts etc fields. They feel they've made it only when they have accolades piled on them otherwise they feel sidelined.
      No where have i seen that Allah or Muhammad SAW say that this is how and where you get glory in this world or the Hereafter.
      A branch of Islam is Hayah and Sharam - Modesty and Bashfulness - this is not apparent when you strut down the runway.

      Modeling is haraam and against Islam. Islam is about good character that is no physical intimacy before marriage and no mixing between man and woman. Islam is not about head covering. Nowadays these people are changing real Islam. Islam is about respecting woman as queens. Islam is about not smoking and no drinking. Islam is about no friendships and no talking between man and woman which is what real hijab is. Hijab is not head covering. In Islam women are to do respectable noble jobs. In Islam woman are not to cook but should employ maids if they can afford, if maid or takeout can not be afforded then both husband and wife are to equally do chores. Men treat women kindly and with respect in Islam. No touching before marriage is what Islam is. These people wear head covering or burqa and break all other laws of Islam such as doing zina or doing nonsense jobs which will bring punishment such as poverty and struggles. Modesty is in behavior such as not flirting with a man or not being easy to touch.

      This is not proper hijab. Hijab is for Allah and it’s meant to be modest and to cover one’s beauty not accentuate it. Woman and muslim men are supposed to practice haya. How can a female be shy or modest attracting all the attention of stranger men. I was like you when I reverted. Even though I dressed modestly the colors that I picked really accentuated my natural beauty. I wish I could go back in time and dress in a way that was truly modest in my case worn the niqab since my beauty is mostly in my face. I wear niqab now but I missed an opportunity when I was younger to be better and if that hurts me now I can only imagine the regret on the day of Judgement.

      I think you have a gross mischaracterization of Islam. Islam does not require one to live in the 7th century. If you think you must wear only cotton and a specific silver you have no business using technology and posting comments on the internet. One can wear synthetic fabrics, though it being question of whether or not that is preferable to natural fibers is a question to make, but to say that only natural fibers are allowed in Islam is bizarre and you are misunderstanding Islam. If you think Islam is a sacrifice to Allah, realize that Allah needs nothing from you, not even your praise. When you say that you are doing things for the sake of Allah you better realize that it means you should be doing it exclusively for yourself. If you are doing it for anyone else’s benefit other than your own then you are not doing it for the sake of Allah. I don’t like synthetic fibers myself but they do have a purpose and there is nothing wrong with wearing them for the right purpose.

You have to choose one of the paths and the fashion industry is one of mere illusion and play with the price of selling your body, soul, sanity and spirituality. Having a practising faith provides true contentment, peace, freedom from capitalist and western oppression and a connection to a higher power that provides us with true guidance and true happiness. I say to all my Muslim sisters…to please educate or research about modesty of the khimar (hijaab) and the way we how we should be dressed and see if you are adhering to the obligation and empethise of the quraan that has been translated in many langues
    some sisters I’ve talked to say it’s a thing there dealing with and to leave them alone, though there’s many new Muslim (reverts) women out there that are like children who are trying to understand Islam, and they might not know the obligation to adhere to covering themselves properly and when they see Muslim sisters who do not cover without knowing their backround, my sisters will have others who are following them without knowing….

    • @wc7zr
      @wc7zr 3 месяца назад

      I think you and the sisters you are referring to are both wrong in the hijab approach. These women that are struggling with hijab don’t have the avenue to physically express themselves thru fashion to fit their desires, and your approach is that the desire to physically adorn yourself everyday of your life is haram. This is a lifestyle question that we as mankind are not addressing. To beautify yourself is worship if you first recognize the reality of how bodies are, and that Allah granted everyone with beautiful physical features. With that recognition it is important to groom and beautify those physical features and make them look their best everyday. But it is then the responsibility of the person to then become selective over who gets to enjoy one’s best appearance bc no one person can assume meaningful relationships with all of mankind. Women, bc of the nature of our physical form, should be selective over who gets to appreciate your best physical appearance. Have friends that reciprocate the effort you put into them. Put into your family as they put into you. Choose a partner that will provide for your wants and needs after getting access to appreciate your best. Muslim women should be fashionable and beautiful and should be admired in their regular day to day, but only by those that they have cultivated meaningful relationships with. Neither side, you or those struggling with hijab, have recognized that. Your side demonizes women for wanting to look and feel beautiful all day everyday, and the other side is struggling to feel their best and prioritize who gets to appreciate that best. Neither side is providing suitable environments to cultivate meaningful relationships to create your social circle and allow for women to look and feel their best each day in various occasions from casual to formal. Both sides are missing the mark here.
      Allah doesn’t need you to feel good about yourself bc you are sacrificing your vanity for modesty, bc Allah doesn’t need anything from any of us. Rather, Allah is asking each of us to enjoy the gifts He gives each of us in our physical appearance and to remember that it is He that gave it to us. Appreciate it by making it beautiful bc He made it beautiful to appreciate. Enjoy fashion and remember Him as you enjoy fashion. But then be exclusive and don’t over share with the whole world bc humans innately take more when there is no pushback. Allah made women to be inherently appreciated and desired by the nature of the female form, so make yourself beautiful but don’t turn yourself into a free all you can eat buffet bc you will be upset after all the food is gone and you made zero profit from all your effort.

Basic human curiosity dictates that well-intentioned people will ask about unfamiliar customs. @@2law2be Well, I find understanding comes from explaining why do you things in general and sharing your faith in interfaith dialogue especially when there is misinformation about your faith from events aboard. I say this as a practicing Muslim myself.
      In reality, most other women who cover their hair (Amish, Mennonite, Nuns, Orthodox Jews) are fairly isolated from society statistically and rarely interact with those from outside their community. Why shy Muslim women may be frustrated that they can't just get on like any other person, I'm sure many people would inquire into why those women from other faiths cover their hair if they were integrated enough to go on run-ways or frequently ran board rooms.
      Also, a genuine question about other's practices (fasting, prayer, clothes) often comes from a place of trying to learn about another person/faith/culture. How is it fair to tell people to educate themselves about others then to simultaneously be frustrated when they ask genuine questions?

    Surah An-Nisā [24:31]
    Surah Al-Ahzāb [33:33]
    Please, O Muslim Women, do not trap into Shaytan's steps and do not expose your beauty this way.
    What those women do has nothing to do with the correct hijab.
    A woman should cover her beauty and take care of it. She shouldn't expose it to the whole world, beautifying herself even more.
    Many scollars say that even the face of the woman should be covered. Let alone being a Model. Something like Muslim Model with Hijab doesn't exist. Modesty isn't about wearing an Abaya and a Hijab, modesty is about covering, hiding and protecting your beauty from the society and those who might have a disease in their hearts.
    Do not understand this wrong. This does not mean that you should lock up yourselves in a room and stay there forever. This means that the women's beauty is too worthy to be shown to every single man in this world. A man has to deserve to see your beauty.
    Hijab doesn't just mean the headscarf on your head. Hijab means covering. There is a Hijab for men as well. This means that there are certain rules, men and women in Islām have to follow in order to fulfil the correct Hijab.
