Best part of this video is the training and you mentoring your son in the proper way to fell a tree. There is no rushing when it comes to safety and you are teaching him good practices. Also the fact you had a 250 there as well shows he is getting practice on smaller saws before you toss him a bigger one. Thumbs up on the video from showing the saw and the interaction showed with your son.

That’s what it’s all about. I may not be an expert myself but it’s my job to pass on what knowledge I have to my son. I have enjoyed watching him grow and learn. My hopes is that he is better than me someday and passes it on to one of his own! Thanks for the positive feedback 👊🏻

Best firewood saw ever made. I’ve had mine for 4 years now and I cut 15 cords a year with it. It’s my favorite saw that Stihl makes I won’t buy any other saw. I run 18” bar with full chisel chain. It’s a beast of a saw

    • @toddsoutsideagain

I gotta say it’s becoming my favorite saw after just owning it for two years. I run a 20 inch bar simply because my son has the MS 250 with the 18 on it. The 261 is so satisfying to run that it is in my hand, probably 90% of the time. I appreciate you watching and commenting.👊🏻

Not at all disappointed with the 261c after two years! It just made sense for me to go with it over the 362 because I already had the 400c which is 67cc and weights not even more than a half a pound more than the 362. I just wanted a smaller professional grade to pair with the 400c. 261c at 10.8 lbs and 50cc was a good pair! All good saws. Thanks for watching 👊🏻

Your right Todd, power-to-weight on the 261 is numero uno, they ran the numbers, think it comes in just under 11 lbs.
