One of the most beautiful, most moving Masses that I've been privileged to attend was Pentecost Sunday at the ICKSP church in St. Louis, MO... The closest I've ever felt to Heaven. God bless and protect the ICKSP!
I attended the Pentecost vigil on Saturday morning there in St. Louis at ICK, I had my friend and my 5 kids with me. Was thinking this was just a low mass for first Saturday... boy were we in fir a very delightful surprise!!! My friend is a newby to Latin mass and I wanted her to see a well formed solemn high and to my surprise it was, like you said, as close to heaven as you could get!!!! My children were blown away!!!

Something is definitely going on with ICKSP. All the Canons (Priests) spent the whole day yesterday in Adoration after high mass.

Dr. Taylor, that little nun was not being "kind". She has no tolerance for that sinful lustful display in public. There was no pretense there at all. She pushed them apart, turned on the photographers and tried to correct them too. God bless those old school nuns who are not afraid of correcting the sinner! Taylor I attend an ICKSP parish, my priest last year attended the ordination Mass for priestly ordinations at our cathedral. All the priests except him were up on the altar concelebrating. He refused to concelebrate and just chilled in his pew wearing his choir dress while everyone else was wearing their burlap sacks up on the altar.

Dr. Marshall, thank you for this video showing the nun separating the women. After 34 years of working around criminals (I was a parole officer) it looks like "a set up". That is to say, the women, the photographers, etc. decided to entertain themselves by scandalizing the nun or, they were trying to demonstrate "oppression" by the church. Of course, such people will not differentiate between harassment and dignity; they're professional victims. Thanks again for your efforts. Pax

I have attended TLM with the Institute of Christ the King in Spain 🇪🇸. They give mass in many places in southern Spain.
She is certainly VERY pastoral, as she cares about their souls. May we be as rigid. Love her!

I think the nun is very brave. She loves God, hates sin and hates to see these young women behaving sinfully. The young women, bemused as they might be, have had an encounter of God's love through her and although they are treating her like she's from another planet, at least have had an experience of a genuine Christian reaction to their behavior where most of us would just look the other way. It is my hope that in a quiet moment they may reflect on what they have done and at least question it. Pray for the nun, pray for them, and pray for the loving yet firm guidence of the Holy Spirit for them.
A like for the nun. She was able to be strong and come across as charitable at the same time. imo she did not come across as hateful. She was just shocked.

An official sign from the Institute was posted at different locations, saying: “As of August 1, the celebration of public Masses is suspended." I hope they stand up and fight this, get a good lawyer and sue the diocese. Though I do not attend Latin Mass, I am outraged at this deliberate insult to Our Lord and all the abuses this Cupich is allowing in the Chicago Diocese churches.
Shame on him and those like him. Much more prayer is needed for our Holy Church and nation. May God help us.

The Institute is the Society most devoted to high baroque expression of the liturgy. Can not be too much lace or too long a train on the cappa magna for them. This must absolutely infuriate Rome.

Yes. But my favorite, and the pivotal moment, is when George Bailey is on the bridge. He cries out to Clarence/God, “Help me, Clarence! Get me back. I want to live again.” His lip is bleeding, the snow is falling, and he finds Zuzu’s precious petals where he had placed them in his pocket earlier that day. It is the moment of his conversion, and thereafter he is showered with love and gratitude, from folks near and far, and most especially from heaven above. 🕊

I remember when I did something like that, one of the women was so mad at me, I thought she was going to hit me, but God stopped her from doing that, she fell... Lord have mercy!

Hey Dr Marshall. In my opinion, fortitude is one thing the Institute doesn’t need. Those guys are really hardcore. I go to an Institute parish and our priests are 100% in. Our guys haven’t concelebrated the Chrism mass. They love the traditional mass above everything else.
We need to pray to the Immaculate Heart of our Blessed Virgin Mother for Cupich and all the Cardinals and bishops and priests! This is why this among so much else happens! It is our trial and test, to love or to be indifferent! We can't be indifferent anymore I believe God is telling us!
It’s time to gather with others & process in front of the Bishops homes praying our rosaries, & carrying a statue of Our Lady and a big Crucifix. We need to beg for Holiness and Courage for our Bishops.

I attended both Chicago's Holy Name Cathedral, and Saint John Cancius, the unknown secondary Cathedral down the street on Chicago Avenue, in downtown Chicago. The Tridentine Mass, was fairly heavy in Gregorian Chant, and quite lovely....pages of Latin Chant!
They teach Latin and Greek there.
Now I'm in Choral singing original Sacred Music, Gregorian plus more, my original training.
Our Priest who built a new Traditional Altar for us, and a Traditional Communion rail, plus established our Sacred Music Choir, is now going back to Europe, to help fight for us. Father told me personally, "the war is on, it has already begun."

I researched and charted the precipitous falloff in Catholic Mass attendence. I sent it out three times and said I'd not do it again. And I won't. But the fall-off happened between 1963 and 1965; The beginning of the Anglican charismatic movement in the U,S. Check it out.
She’s saying “Che fa?” What are you doing?
She [the nun] is saying "Che fai?" not "Qui'fi"... "Che" is what/that and "fai" is from the verb "fare" which is an action verb "to work or do" and the entire two-word expression is a casual expression, not formal. It is short-handed when phrased this way, "che fai?" or "what do you do?" So the phrase "What are you doing?," in Italian, it is casually said "che fai?" ("what [do] you do?") but the formal translation of "What are you doing?" is accurately rendered when you know how to conjugate the verbs correctly - and fai is (second person) "do," but facendo is "doing"...stai is from "stare" and is the [second person] "tu" form of "stay" and also related to "live" and other action and being [essere] verbs, so when you say "[Che] Cosa stai facendo? you are asking, "What do you stay doing?" (If I were speaking, I would not use Che before cosa here because it sounds redundant if you are asking a very general "what's up," but if somebody asked me "che cosa stai facendo?" I would translate that to mean "what is that you stay doing?" and I could see it being used if I were doing something specific, like a craft or something that the "che" directs the "cosa" to refer to "in particolare" although I think it sounds funny and I have never heard it spoken that way. Really though, you don't need to bother with all that. I just wanted to break it down for the literalists out there.
Francis is taking the traditional orders down one at a time, starting with the smallest. Francis does not keep his word. Ultimately it is the priesthood that is the true target.

Promise I'm not a troll, I'm a Methodist who has been trying to choose between Catholicism and Orthodoxy for two years. I've gone back and forth a dozen times between Trad Catholicism and Orthodoxy a dozen times and even considered the arguments of Sevevacantism. My personal view now is that the church hierarchy at the time of the schism was a bit more centralized than modern Orthodoxy due to the primacy of Rome and much, much more decentralized than modern Catholicism. In other words, it seems Orthodoxy is closer to the original church. Not trying to cause controversy, just an honest opinion. TM has been one of my biggest influences on my journey and I'm extremely grateful. thank you

I used to attend masses by Institute of Christ the King at Five Wounds parish in San Jose, California. The services were flawless, beautiful, pious and reverent. I also went to confession before mass and I was blessed immensely. Now they’ve been forced to re-locate to a business complex. Thanks, Pope Francis. :(

There are no politics in the parishes of the Institute. There are gross bishops. Cupich used to sleep with seminarians. Pope Benedict could have removed him when he had the chance, but Benedict was weak and that fine line between self doubt and humility has to be kept as rigid as possible so that we know the difference, otherwise he would have been able to shape the Church back into a holy House of God, at least he would have staved off the wolves for many more years to come. Benedict knew somebody was going to kill him within those walls if he didn't cede over the chair and that is why I believe he has never truly given authority to Francis in his heart - I don't think Benedict would have held on this long if he didn't have a reason for living and if that reason wasn't extremely important, like the entirety of the Church, he would not have lived this long. He was frail in 2013, but frailty doesn't determine life and death or how God will direct our lives if we follow Him. I don't believe Benedict did something that was wrong or weak, but in the end, I think by maintaining his white garments and papal title, he has given us all an "out" from the ravages of the wolf that these Cardinals and Francis have been summoned to make the final acts of destruction and the little frail forgotten Benedict will emerge as the authority who has held authority the entire time and I believe he has been isolated on purpose by Francis and perhaps even jailed. Why don't we see any of the traditional minded Cardinals? Also, the SSPX thought it best not to send the bishops to Rome any longer due to fear that they would be kidnapped and perhaps worse. Viganò also knows that Rome is dangerous. Francis is not a kind person. Cupich is not kind nor dumb, he is a calculating serial killer.
@@Jgrayski Right on all counts except the first one. In this case there was politcs involved because The ICK was a guest at a Diocesan Parish. It wasn't their Parish. Same situation in Oakland except the Bishop there is in favor of the Usus Antiquior, so The ICK is welcome. Also, Five Wounds (in San Jose) is not a particularly traditional Parish, whereas St. Margaret Mary (Oakland) is a magnet Parish that attracts traditional minded Catholics for the TLM and the Novus Ordo in Latin.
I can't wait to be elderly so I can speak my mind and not get walloped in the face. If I did the same thing at the age I am now, I would get walloped.

Father Altman has answered a call from our veterans. These brave people defending our country, do not have enough support from our clergy. They should be a primary concern of our Clergy, as they have been willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. They have followed in the footsteps of our Lord, Jesus knew the absolute horror He faced to pay for our sins and save our souls, our veterans do what they are called to do to protect our lives.
Why can't Fr. Altman baptize if lay people can?

Oh, the institute isn't shut down. The institute is still very active. Cupich wanted the institute to sign a certain document, but refused because it meant they would have to betray their spirituality and charism. As a layman, I am very much a supporter of the institute and they do amazing work especially with young people. My hope is the next bishop of Chicago will allow them to continue their work on the oratory in Chicago as the Christ the King shrine.

Cupich used to strike me as stupid. The more I have been forced to think about him (I really would prefer to forget his existence) the more I see a lot of cunning and preparation. He feigns being simple. He cleverly misdirects. I knew as stonecutter deacon who did that. Wiggly. Weaselly.

The Novus Ordo is the abysmally unique liturgy of the church at present, uniquely banal as described by BXVI .How can a bishop command such an absurdity from the faithful?
Because he is mad. Mad as a hatter. He should be locked up for literally attacking his people. Chaining the doors of Immaculate Conception church in Rapid City SD on Good Friday in 2002. Telling little children they can't receive communion and confirmation in the rite they have been raised in. Attempting to kidnap Fr Kalchik and imprison him in a re-education camp fronting as a mental health facility. Executing a hit job of false accusations against a priest who resuscitated a dying crumbling parish and founded a traditional order and then after he is exonerated of all charges, forcibly removing him as pastor and superior of his own order. This man is a psychopath or possesed or both. He should get out and get help immediately

Cardinal Raymond Burke is involved with Christ the King Institute
Cardinal Raymond Burke, then Bishop Burke shortly after he was installed as Bishop of LA Cross was presented with the opportunity to put sysmatic( sic) Priest Reverend Hector L Bolduc out of business in Necedah, Wisconsin. He tried to get a Priest from Fraternity of Saint Peter but none was available, but he was able to get one from the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. The Institute was given a parish in Wausau, Wisconsin and a Priest would drive to Necedah, to celebrate the Latin Tridentine Mass on Sunday. In Necedah, Wisconsin where Virgin Mary appeared (not approved of course) in 1950 to 1975 there are a number of so called Priests celebrating Latin masses. Father Bolduc did eventually leave his so-called parish in Necedah but only moved down a couple of miles. He died a couple years later of cancer.
