16 years later .....time to play KH4 on the PS7 with my 20 year old kids
Lol kids I been waiting forever for this sequel. They like to build the suspense for years.
KH5 , playing with my 50 year old kids and 25 year old grandkids and 5 year old great grandkids while I'm having Parkinson's and arthritis while holding the controller
The issue with that tactic, is most of their targets will be dead by time of the payoff rolls around.

I hope/think they might not take so long this time. To be fair, the time between 1 and 2 was only 4 years. The KH3 gap was never meant to be this big, but Nomura’s Versus XIII project set it back big time. Now I’m pretty sure he’s put KH on his front burner until it’s done. His only major non-KH project I’m aware of right now if FFVII remake, and there’s a chance he’ll step down from that and focus on KH. I could see the next game coming in just a few years.

All you need to know is: Nomura is basically going for the Avengers: Infinity War route rn. Oh and Sora's dead and is participating in The Reaper's Game from The World Ends With You

He was a scientist who fell to darkness...but turned out to be a zealot of light even worse than Eraqus and wanted to destroy the world to reforge it as a world of light...doesn't that run contrary to his previous goals and not explain why he'd have his best friend killed and well...everything else...This doesn't make any sense.
Luxu: If you think that's bad try working for him. The dude was suffering from a pretty bad case of dementia. Half the time I had to remind him of what he wanted to do.

I think he just re-completed again like saix cause all of the organization members who re joined xehanort oped to become nobodies again.

@@gravethebeyond in the secret files in KH3 it states that Xigbar/Luxu was using Xehanort, he pretended to be Xeheanorts right hand. Either to get his keyblade or for whatever reason we don't know yet

@@victorfarias8086 Before the reveal, I thought Xigbar had a tragic story with a tragic end, being a bit like us; coveting the keyblade but being cursed to never get our hands on one. But then the reveal happened, I was pissed because I saw it as a twist for twist's sake. But now that I'm playing through all the games again, knowing what I know now and listening to his dialogue, the fucker was never even subtle about being Luxu. Every second line is him mocking Sora for not being as good as Keyblade masters of old, and even under Xemnas he's been doing his own thing. I wouldn't have guessed "Oh hey, some Keyblade Master of old is body-surfing for some greater scope villain's agenda", but he definitely knew a lot more shit than he ought to for a mercenary, and he had too few interactions with Eraqus's students to hold them to the regard he did in his fight against Sora in 2.
So what I'm saying is "Fucker's smurfing hard".
@@gepettogreco Actually yea even in 2009 (i think) Nomura said in an interview that fans should keep an eye on Xigbar as he would have a very important role in the story and that he wasn’t what he seemed. A lot of people give Nomura shit for seemingly making stuff up as he goes but clearly he actually does have an overall plan for the story.

Lol you do know kh3 only took so long because Pixar took a year or more to reply back saying it’s ok to use there characters lol and then they switched engines but it was mainly Pixar taking so long with the rights

havoc19x Well they didn’t work on it for 13 years of course, they probably spent the last 4-5 years working on it and it feels like 13 if we just assume that the “filler” games don’t exist/count.
We’ll eventually get a dlc in a year or so and a new game maybe in 3-4 or more, keep in mind that they’re working on FF7 Remastered and Nomura said that he’d rather work on a new game than making DLCs.
Nomura also stated that he’s gonna avoid making filler games.
We’ll see, I honestly don’t believe they just abandon the game like this, especially because it has lot of potential still and it’d be kinda of a waste if they just decide to move on.
Excuse me what? Yeah like I really would like to play as Axel, Roxas ,etc in the other KH game cause using only Sora can get kinda boring, even tho he’s an amazing character, but damn so many characters and not playable, Hell even Riku you could only play as him for like 6 minutes in total and that pissed me off

When you unlock the secret ending the title screen changes to show a chess board with the 7 foreteller symbols on black chess pieces and 7 star shaped pieces in white
I can’t believe I’m like the only one who’s seen this, but you know how during the loading screens there’s a social media type post thing? Idk how to explain it but one of the loading screens I got after beating the game was a picture of the chess board with soras piece and 7 white pieces all with stars on top behind his so I’m pretty sure it’s 7 darks and 8 lights

For people who looked over it, there was a final scene in Olympus coluseum where what I described happened. What's so important is that luxu, is the one who is supposed to hide the box. This is why he was watching them. Another reason it's important is that he says "may your heart be your guiding key" except we all know it was cut off. If you remember, yen did said that the line was used in a time long before, which is the time of fairy tales (where Luxu become a apprentice and was told to guard the box and pass on "no name"). So ya know, it's easily looked over considering it's a very short scene.

I think i get it,
The master gave Ava a role to train a future generation of Keyblade wielders,
And then he gave Luxu a role to train a future generation of darkness,
And then he needed them to clash until someone like Sora would happen to awaken to powers and then years later have Sora unknowingly lead him to Shibuya.
I grew up only playing 1 and 2, then decided to dive deep and learn about all the plot before 3. I didn't even play them all I just learned about them and by the end of 3 didnt feel confused I felt like it was AWESOME. Tying your characters in to so many worlds hurts the new comers but makes it so much more EPIC when you understand who everyone is.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is my first KH game. Before I started to buy KH3, I watched playthroughs of people (without commentary) playing every game before KH3. That's how I understood the story. I like the story.
The controls of KH3 I don't like (I had another huge issue with Star Fox Zero) and may not let me play KH3 many times. One playthrough may be enough for me since I struggled with that playthrough by pressing the wrong button many times due to muscle memory thinking the jump button should be a button I always press in other games that are "similar".
It's 2019 and some developers don't think custom controls are necessary. Thank goodness Smash Ultimate let me choose to customize what button does what. I would've stopped playing the game. I'm not the person to buy one certain controller just for that game that is currently not supported by other games > gamecube controller for the switch.
I may not play another KH game and just enjoy people playing future games unless I can customize my buttons.

Square Enix will end up releasing FF7 remake and FF16 before we see KH4
Probably not. I don't see KH4 being more than 7 years away and from everything we know Nomura is working on FFVIIR kindof unwillingly
(which is why I hope they will switch directors. Someone who is actually passionate about that project will probably do a better job directing it and we will get a better game in the end)
FF16 from all we know isn't even being worked on yet after FF15 was seen as a semi failure by square enix (the final wave of dlcs which would have been the end of the story was canceled) I don't think they really want to make another mainline FF game too quickly.
And with Nomura still being salty about not being allowed to finish FFVSXIII he also probably won't direct another FF game any time soon.
I'm sure we'll get a few spin offs before then as well
@@XxLew I don't think they will start the next arc with a non numbered title (the only "spin offs" KH ever had were KH mobile and KH V-cast and I doubt you ever heard about those two. Stop calling main series games spin offs.)

If I'm completely honest, I'm hoping that the next game will have very little to do with Disney considering how KH3 was almost entirely Disney. Of the 11(Technically) worlds in 3, 8 of them were Disney, the other 3 were KH original. We had 0(zero, unless you count Moogles) Final Fantasy/Non-KH Square representation, and that's kinda disappointing when you look back at the roots of the game. That aside, I still have so many questions. Who were the Seekers with Xehanort at the graveyard, Vexen and Demyx bailed to help out Ienzo and Wise Ansem? Why did Sora know Xion's name, she was erased entirely from existence at the end of 358, memory and all? Did the X-blade that Master Xehanort use actually count, considering that there weren't 13 Darknesses and 7 Lights, with Xion switching sides, Terra coming back, and Roxas being brought to life, even after losing Kairi, there were still 9 Lights to the 10 Darknesses? Who were those 12 warriors you had to fight in Scala Ad Caelum supposed to be, I get that they were some kind of representation of Xehanort's Seekers, but their design was much too specific to just be some random figments in armor?
To me, they were just manifestations of MX's other selves. AKA, his darknesses.
the members of Org 13 were like horcruxes for Xehanort, so I guess those warriors were parts of them inside of himself(?) since they wielded their respective weapons (Xigbars arrowguns, Vanitas' keyblade, etc.)
I'll be fine if they just release the next game with actual difficulty modes instead of three beginner modes under different names...
GUYS DONT FORGET THE CARD ONE OF THE Organization 13 people gave Sora said it could change the tide call it a wildcard what if that card can revive Sora to be alive

Its the teases from kh that are always edgy n dark. Look back at the secret cutscenes from kh1 n 2.the whole joke of Verum rex is that its a facsimile of what those trailers were showing up out of no where when u load up toybox for the first time. Its supposed to be the same kinda tongue n cheek joke as the Kingdom Hearts 2.9 title card.

KH1 is childish because we were kids when we played it. XD we're practically adults by KH3 so theyre upping up the content xD
How was Kh3 darker wtf ? It was like the happiest game since the beggining of Kh ...We saved everyone, the disney worlds were happy... we had a prefectly good ending (except sora but it's not like he's dead anyway so it's not really sad ), and even 90% of the "villains" disappeared while being happy or our friend lol

He already had been bequeathed No Name from MoM. Braig/Xigbar calls Xehanort "Old Coot" at least 5 times before this. Xehanort promised No Name to Braig in BBS. This line was still Luxu playing the persona of Xigbar. Not an allusion to MoM.

She was looking for the black box the entire time. Reason being is that she has a book of prophecy And knew about the box i believe.

Is it just me, or are the line and dialogue, and pretty much everything else really slow in these cutscenes? There's a slow awkwardness to everything, and things don't move naturally.

If you have no clue who these people are they are most of them are the second generation of fortellers. One of them is a traitor though and killed Strelitzia. Elrena is just another one of the dandelions.

I still have no idea what Kingdom Hearts is supposed to do.
Okay so Kingdom Hearts is actually where all hearts are supposed to go when separated from their bodies. It's also the original source of all Light. And as we know from this clusterfuck of a series hearts and light can be used as power. So what did Xehanort want to do? Well he wanted to use Kingdom Hearts to hit the reset button on the entire universe. Everything was fine in the Land of Fairy Tales but darkness spread like a cancer and it won't stop. So he wanted to make his X-Blade and use Kingdom Hearts to erase the entire universe. Like all of it. Then use Kingdom Hearts again to make a new Big Bang, starting the universe over again, so he can watch over it and make sure the people in it don't mess it up again.
Now i'm really curious to see what Luxu looks like before he turned into Xigbar, or even Braig.
Can’t wait to be in my early 30’s by the time KH4 comes out 🙃
