Peter couldn't speak a word of English when he first appeared on HCL several months ago. Nik Airball was his unofficial translator on a table with mostly Chinese-speaking poker players. Being able to mutter 'full house' is a huge step towards English proficiency for Peter.
He's living on reputation imo, his aggressive style was great 15+years ago when these massive money games didn't exist, he's running into people where money doesn't count, people will just call him
I would love it if there was some actual analysis on these videos, rather than "OH NO" 77 times when a guy is facing a cooler. Like, it doesn't even have to be super-complex GTO deconstructions or whatever. Even a Gabe Kaplan-level old-school thought process would be fine. Just **something** that isn't the most obvious thing ever that I can think of myself.
I understand Peter was getting lucky flopping, turning, and rivering everything, but you got to give him credit for playing his hands correctly. He made everyone look amateur.
He called anyway so it's irrelevant, but I am surprised they let Dwan's accidental chip flop get pulled back. I believe he was being honest and not angling (especially since he called), but if you let that stand, can't that be used to angle pretty easily?
"My chips just fell forward." Here's an idea.... LEAVE THE F'IN CHIPS ALONE UNTIL YOU'RE GOING TO BET! It's like some of these guys have ADHD and can't stop messing with their chips.
You would think Dwan would have got better at controlling live tells over the years, not worse. Lately he seems to wear his emotions all over his face, he seems to telegraph exactly where he's at through his body language. Control it man
Stupid call by Durr. You can't beat a King, you can't beat aces once the board pairs, you can't beat AQ of clubs, you can't beat jack 10 offsuit.. so why call that river bet hoping to bluff catch a missed flush draw?
Steve is a semi dink. On that flop bet of 19k, he was acting like it was 1/4 of his stack. Guy has almost 800k and he's was so frightened. Scared money don't make money. I get he didn't want to double up a dangerous player but sometimes you have to play strong against known bullies. I don't even mind his laydown after the turn, but he gave it all away after the flop as I am sure tom was able to read that he didn't love his hand
Guys like Peter who seem to be new guys at the table are very dangerous. You have no idea how this guy plays so you can't read his betting at all. The look on dwans face says it all, what?!!! a full house. How the fuck does he have that...
If it’s true that Dwan all these Poker players Money how the heck is this guy sitting down in the super high steaks I would be standing there at the same table staring. I would make him so uncomfortable. There is ways to make people pay.they owe
All-in would have been 2/3 pot. Not a hard call for Peter, about 1/8 of his stack. The fold makes more sense with the large number of hands Tom is losing to.
@@howard5992 In this scenario ofc. Peter has an easy call with 7's full but if he had been value betting a king then the all in probably works pretty well in practice. Fold > All in > call is the order I would choose on this specific case.
Hé should’ve shoved the turn with that KJ hand. I mean another 90k with a stack of over 700k having top pair and a descent kicker no real problem there.
He doesn't have that deep bankroll my friend majority of these players are backed up so they're not even using their own money, but there doesn't have nine figures bankroll I'll let you know right now. Plus he lost a lot of money playing in mcow

He’s like a poorer less jacked Jeff Bezos with hair
I've only seen Peter say 2 things the last few nights. "Nuts" and "Full House"
Peter has learned some new vocabulary, "full house" 🤣
Probably build a new house too
fulleh houseu
he shoulda shoved, instead of that tiny bet on the river
That guy looks like Bob saget lol

He played 2 pair very bad with check on turn
