If Jeff and Nic Cage were in a movie I feel like the screen would just break lol.
You wouldnt even need a Cocaine Bear in that film just set em at a diner table like a Jim Jarmouch film and let the camera roll.

It's his 'thinking' before reacting that's always stood out as being a unique 'style' one of the best 👌
Years of making sure he never looks into the camera. Those quick glances into the lens seemed to go against his gut, but he pulled it off. Love this man and his work so much. I dont know anyone in real life with close to his charisma or whatever word could get closer to decribe such an interesting character.

I thought Jeff could only play Jeff, but he did a movie about being a holocaust survivor and he was immersed in the part. To be honest I never rated him as an actor (I rated him as a Goldblum 10/10 and would always watch a Jeff film) until I saw him transform in that film.
he seems like his brain is moving at light speed. and that maybe difficult for him to say one thing at a time. amazing man.
He does! He sounds like an ADHDer who doesn't feel the pressure to just get on with a story or get to the point or stick to a point. He just unmasks and unleashes Goldblum brain and us unapologetic about it.

The Closest to Goldblum style wise is Shatner, but Goldblum tends to me slightly more vulnerable and thus more endearing. Few do weird as well as Jeff can.

I've been watching a bunch of videos with Jeff talking and talking and talking in the last few days, and I couldn't help but think that the way he speaks reminds me of us ADHDers. So I wonder if he's one of us :)
Also I aspire to become as free and proud of my uniqueness as he is. I recently got diagnosed and I realized I've been masking my whole life without even knowing it, it's been exhausting. He's my role model now 💕

Dude's definitely high all the time. I know because I live with a nerve damaged right shoulder so I am usually high all the time. It's become background clutter for his mind but it's there and you can tell by the way his mind works, and the way he thinks and some of the quirks he has.
I actually think he's got ADHD (As do I, hence seeing the signs in Jeff too). But if so, he could well be on stimulants for it, so yeah kinda high I guess. All guess work of course, not sure if he officially has an ADHD diagnosis.

Check out...if you can find it... his film called Mister Frost. A film he did like 30 years ago, where he plays an evil/sinister character. Doesn't look like it was ever re-released after HD arrived, just old VHS and Laserdisk versions exist from around that time. At least I couldn't find anything released recently, yet. I saw it on TV years ago, and I think I remember it being pretty good. Wasn't his usual sort of part. You can watch it in dreadful ultra-lo-res on some sites though.
Yikes, nevermind. Watched the first half hour online, no matter how bad the resolution was, just to see if it was how I remembered. It aint. The guy who wrote and directed it seems to be unknown today for a reason, he's horrible. Though it was a 90's release, it reeks of late 70's cheesy (not the good kind of 70's cheesy) UK/European storytelling and execution. Felt like a low budget made-for-TV film which for some odd reason featured a major star. No wonder it never got a future Bluray release. Jeff was good though, but the film is awful poopy.

It's always impressive when publicists can take guys like this, when they were C list at best and their career was dead for a couple decades, and change the narrative to be "Oh (Jeff Goldblum or whoever it happens to be at the time)? Total legends. Oh and they're coming back, by the way." They retroactively can convince an entire generation that they were more significant than they ever remotely were.

You do make an interesting point. I'm not sure that he ever went away though did he? Appetites for celebs are ever changing, there's been quite a lot of actors making comebacks hasn't there.
People go on about Morgan Freeman as a narrator for their life, but for me it would be a toss up between Leonard Nemoy and Jeff Goldblum.
