Honestly, I wasn't ready for Roger's retirement so I still can’t sink in his leaving. I had been aware for 10 years that Roger's retirement would come soon especially in 2013. But whenever he fell down, he surged back, which made me feel like I was on the cloud nine. So this time , again, part of me was thinking that he would return, at least he would choose Wimbledon as his last destination. So it was out of the blue. I am still missing him play tennis.

Form is temporary. Class is permanent. Roger was the best spokesperson for tennis. Indeed his character is what sets him higher, and an inspiration for mere mortals to look up to. Thank you RF! You will be missed dearly.

Absolutely the best emabassador of the game of tennis. Yes there will be other greats that are coming through the ranks but to have this much admiration from all of his tennis rivals and ppl who just PALING LOVE HIM LIKE I DO (still wear all your gear RF and have been using every one of your rackets as you changed through the years) and will until I can no longer play. I am 65 this last sept 25 and I keep going because of you. Still playing singles against 30-50 year olds and beat them regularily and playing more doubles now.
You are the G.O.A.T. in my opinion not because of all the titles because they will always be surpassed at some point but because of WHO YOU ARE AS A PERSON...... you are the BEST
Have a great retirement....you deserve to do some other things now as you have given us and the sport so much joy over the years.

The best. Roger will be the king of tennis for a long time in my eyes. I couldn't believe from what I remembered of my early memories of him playing that he would change tennis so much and be so successful.

Roger did that...Even if Choker surpasses the records, his game style won't be remembered forever
