Wow!!!! This standalone review of him is fantastic. 100% sold now on the 1/4 Mando release after this in-depth review of Grogu. He really does look great.
I picked up Grogu from Sideshow collectibles last week and man he is super adorable! I still haven’t gotten a chance to unbox him yet but I’m definitely going to do it sometime this week and put him next to my 1/6 scale Mando figure, also from Hottoys. I know he’s not the 1/6 scale version but I think he’ll pair perfectly with the 1/6 scale Mandalorian figure since he’s small enough that it won’t look out of place.
The way you hold the figure, it reminds me of that one video of someone holding a kitten with a towel. And it kinda similar to the suit that grogu wear actually, very cute looking figure 👍
Hi Justin! I LOVE Grogu! He’s such a wonderful character and I’m glad they gave us options to get him. He’s so adorable and the figures posing options, the head sculpts and the floating pod are perfect! What a nice addition to any collection. Should this figure have been 1/3 scale? I’m not sure but I’m just so glad we have him. You are right about the robes, it looks so much better and more realistic. I think we might see more versions of the child. I also wonder if we’ll see some third party versions of him. I’ve noticed some figures don’t seem to have a third party option. I agree about the hair. Why doesn’t any figure manufacturer want to put hair on Grogu? It’s weird. He looks great standing on the base. What cute poses!!!! I love him so much :) Thanks for the video 😊💎
