24 hours in Hiroshima! (Miyajimacho’s Floating Torii Gate) 🇯🇵

What can you do with 24 hours in Hiroshima? Well we are going to show you.
We were really surprised about Hiroshima and instantly fell in love with the peacefulness of the city. Hiroshima was definitely on our Japan travel list as we wanted to learn about as much as possible about Japan’s history. Walking around the peace park and memorial and seeing the atomic bomb dome building for the first time really took us back!
If you don’t know about this the building is the only structure left standing after an atomic bomb was dropped on the 6th August 1945 and if you research the photos from 1945 it will give you the chills as it was really the only thing left in the area.
We woke in the morning to visit a nearby island called Miyajimacho! It’s home to the most beautiful floating tory gate and shrine and is a must see in Japan.

We really enjoyed our time here in Hiroshima and wish we had longer to explore! It was such a beautiful, peaceful and interesting place, filled with mixed emotions, but such a breathtaking city!

Its a pity you didn't get another day in Hiroshima. I loved my time there, and was one of my fav cities in Japan. The museum at the Peace Park is so moving and a must to see. Looking forward to the rest of your videos.

What time did you ride the ferry back to the mainland to catch the train back to Osaka? We are staying in Osaka. We are planning to visit Hiroshima this Dec 2023 .
The JR ferry was great they went back and forth every 10 minutes loads of options from quite early too it was perfect and we left around 10am but only because we had booked the train already otherwise we would have loved to stay longer! You definitely have time and the train is only an hour and half to Osaka ☺️ hope you have a wonderful trip!😁

If you had more time, you would have wanted to relax more in Hiroshima. 😂💦
If we had time we would have loved to stay in Hiroshima for sure it was such a beautiful and peaceful city 😍

Sorry for Hiroshima to suffer from bombing by the US
It was a very sad historical event 😞
