Would love to, count me in! I was researching camping/accomadations but kinda unsure how that works. More research I guess. Hope to join & keep up the great work 🤙🏽
I am the blind gentleman....and can't tell you how grateful I am for Tom, but also for all riders who kept giving us moral support and made the ride so much FUN!
I'm only part way into the video, but so far, Andre's story, and young Jack's grit are great takeaways from this video. I LOVE seeing young kids get outside their comfort zone and being outside instead of spending the whole day playing video games! Also love seeing stories about not letting life's setbacks keep you from challenging yourself. Would love to join Team Duzer in 2025. Need to do some more research how to make that happen. GREAT video Ryan!
Ryan,,,,awesome video, even for a blind guy! So many memories! Thanks for including Tom and I. And congratulations on doing the Pacific Trail from Canada to Mexico! Wow! You 'da man! André
Best way to spend an hour on a Sunday, with Ryan at RAGBRAI!! I love this video, Ryan. It’s like you brought all your cast of characters on one ride, what a blast. AND….. best click bait title ever, who doesn’t want a warm heart?? ❤️ 😊❤ - Barb from RI
Oh so cool, i've been waiting for this one! I ran into you several times this year. Thank you for taking a few minutes to talk to me, letting me get a selfie with you. Same with Jabba; he always left smiles on the faces of the people he passed. He was hilarious and always joking around. I also got a moment to talk to Dana on her birthday. Thanks to Priority for the cold beverage in Knoxville. I appreciate you commenting on my RAGBRAI video this year. I understand and appreciate now how many hours you spend making an amazing production like this. All the times you stopped your ride to fly a drone or pull out a camera to do interviews, then all the good cycling weather you missed while sitting at home on a computer putting every little clip in a watchable arrangement. I hope everyone watching understand how much hard work Ryan put in to bring you this video!
It took me 7 days too. I loved meeting you. Thanks for all these inspirational videos before. All the way from Germany and still on my bike in the US, over 3500 miles in now. I will do it again in the future, big thanks to you 🙏🏻
I remember 2018, it was very cool! We rode a lot, ate and lived in a tent. I will never forget those emotions when i visited ragbrai for the first time. I will definitely join you next year! I love everyone!
When I was 13, I did a day on the Great Bike Ride. When I was 14, my dad, my brother, and I did 3 days on SAGBRAI (Second Annual...). When I was 15, my whole family did the whole RAGBRAI. As a teen, I kept looking for bigger things to accomplish. What if somebody added something more to RAGBRAI. I'm too old and too busy these days. But, I have a suggestion. What if someone did the "Midwest Loop"? East to west on the Katy Trail, then west on the Lewis and Clark Trail (Adventure Cycling USA), then RAGBRAI, then southbound on the Great Rivers Trail (Adventure Cycling again) bact to St. Charles to complete the loop.
I'm a great fan of yours from Ames IA! Your photography is spectacular; I love seeing the beautiful Iowa countryside and towns. You do such a creative job with your interviews and highlights. Of course it's your enthusiasm and optimism that carry the day! Thank you.
Hey Ryan, love your films keep them coming! I'm over in the UK where my wife is terminally ill, so I'm not able to get out on my bikes at the moment. Your endless positivity and the simple joy that exists in the cycling and outdoor community (I call it my tribe) are a great comfort to me and your films provide much needed escapism at the moment. Thank you so much ❤.
I'm a super fan. I love your videos. This one did warm my heart and inspire me. I hope I can make it to RAGBRAI one day. Everyone was so happy and friendly everybody should be like that every day with everyone.
So happy this video is out. We met at the expo and I told you I might call your name in vain on some of the hills. You inspired me on this life affirming ride
Had so much fun this year! Was great to watch this video of the week. Its great to be an inspiration and to see everyone you got to share there stories including mine.
The good news is that i dont have to wait a month and a half to watch all your 2024 RAGBRAI videos. The bad news is that we just one one massive video! I can only imagine how much time it takes to go thru 7 days worth of footage. Thanks for another great video. It was so good to meet you on this ride!
Awesome awesome video. It makes me miss the tribe vibe of the skydiving community every year in Quincy Illinois, I just love the midwest. I remember the people, the cornfields, the sunsets and the Mississippi.
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I have heart failure and 5 stints, and told I shouldn't even be here. I bike to work, 4 miles each way and any other times I can take a short ride. Live in Iowa and would love to do Ragbrai, but due to my condition I can't. So I go on Ragbrai and other adventures through your videos.
No Flatties, No Crashies and no Whammies...southwest Germany waves a Hand into the Hawkeye State of IA. Seing the Girl with the old Road Race Bike and her Dog abord made me think of John & Mira. Ryan thanks for the Video & have a safe Ride 💯👍🙋♂
This would probably be right up my ride and take it easy type course. I so want to do this. No car to get there though and financially the trip is probably undoable. Maybe I could rent a car to get there and participate. Love you Ryan and love the community coming together. Love seeing kids and teens doing these things and staying out of trouble. Love the people and the sense of community and everyone helping each other. Beautiful. I love biking and bike all the time where we live here. Even though it says we aren't really a biking area. I got my barely used Specialized Hard Rock an older bike but she is my best friend and helps me exercise and get out and have fun and go on adventures. Love you Ryan, so glad to see old friends. Have a great trip. Sending love, and happiness and good vibes. Be blessed, keep biking, and remain unstressed.
Great video Ryan! So great to see bikes making peoples lives better! Question....Do you find riding in sandals less "supportive" than sneakers or bike shoes. Do your feet get sore? DD
The Shimano sandals are actually pretty supportive. I wouldn’t use these on a bid adventure in the desert or mountains, but they’re perfect for road touring
Who wants to join TEAM DUZER next year??? The more, the merrier!
@@duzer I’d love to get out there and ride with you!
I would love it 😊
Would love to, count me in! I was researching camping/accomadations but kinda unsure how that works. More research I guess. Hope to join & keep up the great work 🤙🏽

God bless the blind gentleman and his kind friend for allowing him the opportunity to take part in RAGBRAI.
They’re such an incredible team, so inspiring

Hope you make it happen!
What a fun event! I want to ride this…

Hi,
I am so inspired the old people, young kids, old women, and blind man that make me cry. If old people can do such kind of thing then why I can't.
I hear you, so many inspirational people out there
I miss the quiet and peaceful videos with solo bikepacking ❤
There will always be plenty of those adventures on my channel
Thanks for making this one episode.
Thanks, I really like how it turned out
Hope to see you all next year too!
