@@duzer I have a great question pertaining to two types of bikes, either the priority Gemini, or the 600 adx the latest released version. Between the two, which would be more ideal for someone who would bike tour primarily on rail trails and tow paths similar to the trails featured in this video. More specifically gap trail, c&o ,Erie Canal trail and so on…. That being said, in New Jersey where I would do my casual riding there’s a lot of sandy single track… and just sand in general. Which of these bikes would be able to split double duty the best. My emphasis would be on comfort.

Great video (as usual)! I loved hearing the stories of so many great people. I'm bummed I didn't make a video-- but I'm a little bit chicken in front of the camera even though I can talk just fine in front of people. If you do this again I'll try and work up the courage😁 Short version: Wife and I got into mountain biking in 2019 when I was 57 because we randomly walked into our towns bike shop for no real reason-- obvious now it was fate. Well now we're 6 bikes later with many miles and taken trips never even thought of before. Life changing in so many positive ways. We stumbled upon your channel in 2020 when you did the GDMBR and have been fans ever since! I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't become a Patreon until earlier this year. Anyway thank you for doing what you do!

Where the kid was ridding a wheelie, I too had a guy pass me doing a wheelie. My wife said “How is he doing that?”. I said like this! Wow! Love seeing this as you guys passed me grabbing a McD's fish sandwich at a park just west of Easton. I caught up to you in a few as you had stopped for a moment, somewhere between passing under Rt33 and Freemansburg. We had a nice quick chat. Learning who you are and what you were up t, was cool. I ride the D&L a few days a week between Easton and Allentown and so it was different and kinda neat to see your group pass thru. From your video, early, where you passed under an arch, just after a gravel section, I was afraid you missed my fav section that parallels that gravel road. (it goes under Rt33) It's a single laner for about 2/3 of a mile. Very cool. That same week as I saw you guys there were two male deer with huge racks battling it out in that wilderness area. Anyway, I'd love to know where the sub shop with the giant burritos is located. That single path just after that is a section I want to do... Thanks for the listening. The old geezer on an ebike.

OMG you rode through my back yard. I live in the Lehigh Gap and run those mountains and the Canal all the time. That long hill you toiled up out of Jim Thorpe was Flagstaff mountain where I do my long hill runs. I noticed the turnoff for the campsites but did not explore it, next time I will. So happy you enjoyed Pennsylvania, I feel like we live in Paradise. Shhhhh don't tell anyone.

I know that area you went through at the beginning of the video. I biked the D&l L and the D&R trails between Philly and New Hope this summer. That part of the trip was great, but biking on State Road just north of Philly, which was almost like a highway....not super fun or safe.

Wilkes-Barre, pronounced as in Barry. That's how I remember it. Ran my marathon PR a dozen years ago in nearby Scranton. (Steamtown Marathon.)

I grew up in Jersey, and rode those trails around Frenchtown often many trips around Jim Thorpe to MTB.... They recently turned an amazing railroad bed from Kingston to Bioceville NY. Supposidly they will extend it a few more towns in the coming years, as Hurricane Irene wrecked most of the bridges :/

The climb out of Jim Thorpe will kiss your a$$, no matter how in shape you are. It feels like it just never ends. But the joy of the downhill going back into town is great. Thanks for showcasing the beautiful Lehigh Valley so well in this episode. It's a great place to live and play.

Ah I wish I could work in a bicycle company, I love bikes, and love getting people on bikes, building up a cycling community. But I'm a web developer using Laravel in my work. There is almost no such jobs in bikes companies, especially in the Netherlands where I want to move from Russia :D
Anyway, thanks for a video! Those are some interesting paths!

I was about to suggest the same and you beat me to it! 😉C&O + GAP are a lot like these canal trails plus all the history and culture along the way... would be hard to sum up / contain within 1 video, but there's nothing else like it! The confluence of the Potomac at Harpers and the views at Great Falls are simply breathtaking!
