I actually met Mike Ang a couple of days ago and he hooked me up with a sip, I must say they came up with a great product! He mentioned the project took 4 years to develop.
I wish more distilleries would do this with their blancos. I believe it can be in something for up to 30 days and still called a blanco. I feel it just goes outside the box a bit and we can enjoy it’s uniqueness
There are a few brands that utilize this technique. And actually it can be rested in oak for 59 days (2 months) before it enters the repo stage. Unfortunately, I can't recall any quality brands to reccomend.
I'm new to your channel and I'm just curious, why do you spit out the tequila after you taste it? Never seen that done before. Do you not drink?
