I want an Oled screen since ... many years. I am just really afraid to put that amount of money into something that can "burn in". But I think I will end up getting one very soon anyway. I just... need it.
I have a Philips 55OLED706/12 and some random 1440p144hz Samsung LED monitor. The difference is extremely noticable. I rarely use ny monitor because of it since the only thing better about it is that it's 144hz instead of 120 like my TV. It also has these weird lines in the screen when I turn on the screen. They usually disappear after like 10 minutes but it's clear that it's suffering and needs to be put out of its misery. I decided I'm gonna save up some money and get this in a couple of months
Considering to buy this screen for my PS5 because of the oled and hdmi 2.1! Any opinion about the brightness? I read different things about this, seems that it is to dark?
@@twowheeldavey in my honest opinion, i’m not completely blown away by the screen . The screen is at its brightest on vivid mode but you cant adjust the picture to your liking on that mode . You get stuck using the game mode option which is dimmer and kind of underwhelming. If you dont have a monitor and upgrading from a tv , then this is a win . but if you’re like me that has a 32 inch 144hz monitor, this isnt really a big deal . i’m more than likely going to return it and just stay with what i have
i’m going to test it out for a couple days , see if i can adjust to it before actually considering taking it back .. but dont take my word for it , my preference could be completely different from yours bro . its a great looking monitor dont get me wrong. it doesn’t have that plastic cheap feel like my samsung monitor . The LG has some weight too it and the screen is very thin . Looks and feels awesome. i got a couple days off work this weekend to really test it out . I’ll give you a heads up
Nope! Genuinely been a fantastic monitor. Though I would recommend (if money is no issue) that you buy this year’s version - 27GS95QE. It’s had quite an increase in brightness

What are you playing on? PS5, PC, Xbox? Does it do it randomly whilst gaming or just when you first turn it on? Just need a bit more info to potentially help you out!
Perfectly fine for me. Maybe you need to mess around with the settings or something? Think it also depends on how bright the room is that you’re playing in
So I have this monitor, the PS5 can only run it at 120hz, unlike my PC that can run it at 240hz 10 or 12 bit color. But with PS5 the monitor can still take in 4k signal to my surprise. I run it at 1440p but you can run it at 4k so games and movies will look better, but will still display 1440p
No burn issues at all if you look after it and make use of the OLED Care features. Keep in mind too, I regularly have static images on screen for a long period of time when I’m creating content.
@@TheSMSpider yup it has .03ms response time which is amazing for shooting games and even awesome for other genres. Have you looked at the ASUS PG27AQDM? It's the exact same panel from LG, but it's significantly brighter. Actually it's the brightest 27" WOLED gaming monitor on the market now.
