This is luxurious compared to what they've experienced so far at other places ... that's what they saying. And the trains you mentioned are beyond the backpacker's budget .

@@zingwibrothers actually i have been to one of those when i was 12 with my parents, right now i am 18 so i dont really remember which one it was but i am 80% sure it was palace on wheels so their names like these are for a reason because the interior of the trains is mindblowing i really suggest you to see the pictures of these trains online maybe it will justify the prices and yes there are people travelling by the train and i still have pictures and it amazes me everytime i look at them. and it is completely totally worth it. hope it helps.

Hi guys.. vandebharat is kind of semi-highspeed trains. They are designed to run upto 180 km/h speed. But due to track upgrade works, they run around 130 km/h.
Yeah we noticed that in 5 hours train ride he very often slowed down and continued to drive so slow! Maybe should work on the railways but the train itself is pretty powerful I guess

The train is empty even in goa bcoz March isn't a holiday season in India. As ( financial year closing) 31 march is approaching ,everyone is busy in their offices and children are busy in their final exams. And its Holi season, so everyone prefers to celebrate it in their homes with family instead of vacationing.
You can order food delivery from any local restaurant/McDonald's/Domino's etc. near next upcoming station and it will be delivered to your seat when train stops at the station. Note : because you are in Vande Bharat and doors are closed so in this specific train delivery guy won't come till seat you'll have to take delivery from him at the train door. So Bon Appetite now order anything you desire enjoy alongside the already served/included train food.

Hi German bros, you have done a great review of Vande Bharath (Salute India) Train. Thses trains can reach 180 kmph but 160 kmph is the operating speed. In reality 130 kmph due to pending upgradation of tracks. Next Gen VB will reach 220 kmph, meanwhile tracks will be upgraded. Hope in a few years that will be achieved. Thank you Germany for supporting our Subhash Chandra Bose 80 years ago during our Independence strugle.
Indian government have a plan to replace all old train with Vandhe Bharat model within 7-8 yrs period...!! India definitely one of the fastest growing big economy....🙏

ICE trains are bit old and not well maintained.. I didn't find that good , though it did cross 300 km/ hr for some stretches, but the avg speed it maintains is around 200 to 220 kms/ hr .

The " Zug" in Deutschland is certainly very fast & the interiors are quite ok. The train didn't serve food though. This was between 1975 to 1978. My dad was serving in the Indische Bostschaft in Bonn, then.

We have improved a lot but as an avid traveller i can say it is nothing compared to China or even Indonesia. In Indonesia a luxury train of $20 looks like an aeroplane with a train hostess and awesome foods, whereas Vande Bharat is quite mediocre in this era.

Please try Sleeper Bus once, it is comparable in price to 2-tier AC Train and equally comfortable. Also, if you are staying for 2 nights or more at a certain location, you could hire a Rental Car (with driver) and travel to important spots within ~300-km distance round about that location for ~Rs.12 per km or so in a single day and be back by night. This way you can cover some interesting spots that you normally miss if only travelling by Bus ,Train or 2-wheeler. Love your videos 👌, enjoy the spontaneous reactions 😎.

Mangalore Madgaon Vande Bharat normally runs less than 50% occupancy - may be because it doesn't stop at popular places like Murudeshwar and Byndoor Mookambika Road. Secondly there are many trains (including premium trains like Rajdhani , Duronto) from Mangaluru to Madgaon which take around 6 hours to cover the distance. The fair in these trains is much less than Vande Bharat.
The lack of passengers on the train is not surprising at all. Since it was introduced a few months back the occupancy has not crossed 20%. And your train didn't even have 20% I feel.
Indian railways tracks are not capable of high speed trains maximum speed is 130 kmph in most of india but indian railways are working on upgrading tracks to 160 kmph slowly & steadily ❤❤

In Germany ICE reaches speed up to 310 kmph (from Frankfurt to Munich stretch).

There are no auto-rickshaws in Goa. You can rent a scooter that's how travellers (both native and foreign) travel around Goa
Maximum indian railway sections are yet to be made for high speed running that is why Vanda Bharat express' permissible speed is 130km/hr.

Your thumbnail and title is misleading.. Vande Bharat is not luxury train.. Maharajas Express, The Deccan Chariot and others are the luxury trains.. it's not just India's but one of world's best luxury train..travel in that and put up that title
Please try Sleeper Bus once, it is comparable in price to 2-tier AC Train and equally comfortable.
Also, if you are staying for 2 nights or more at a certain location, you could hire a Rental Car (with driver) and travel to important spots within ~300-km distance round about that location for ~Rs.12 per km or so in a single day and be back by night. This way you can cover some interesting spots that you normally miss if only travelling by Bus ,Train or 2-wheeler.

Mangalore Madgaon Vande Bharat normally runs less than 50% occupancy - may be because it doesn't stop at popular places like Murudeshwar and Byndoor Mookambika Road. Secondly there are many trains (including premium trains like Rajdhani , Duronto) from Mangaluru to Madgaon which take around 6 hours to cover the distance. The fair in these trains is much less than Vande Bharat.

Indian railways tracks are not capable of high speed trains maximum speed is 130 kmph in most of india but indian railways are working on upgrading tracks to 160 kmph slowly & steadily ❤❤
