@@tonderainyawera I have found my feet considering there is not GMS. Except for one critical app to get into my work account, I really like it. I use my phone for reading, Pinterest, social media and some basic gaming, and found the phone holds up really well. It is fast enough for me, and has enough space for all my media. Dual apps not the greatest, butt works okay.
Just bought one for £30 UK, an unwanted Christmas present. Love the screen size & clarity, the battery is amazing, left it 5 days before needing a recharge, just using phone and messaging app's. There's a patch out now so WhatsApp can be installed & used without issue. There are lots of app's out there now who give patches to enable Huawei users access, their own store has lots to choose from too. I don't like the camera, the picture quality is in my opinion crap, pictures shared with me show better than ones I take with my own camera. I've not used it for gaming, but HD videos play perfectly and other quality videos play really well.
@@centuriontwofivezeroone2794 oh such a shame it looks pretty, but one last question. It doesn't have google play services right? Are apps available on the app store
@@callmedjangoo No again. It has its own version and many apps have produced patches (either hidden in the app, or as separate downloads} for example WhatsApp can be used without problem. I'm sure the illegal embargo on Huawei phones won’t last forever and improvements on their behalf will only get better. There are thousands of games and apps to choose from, many you will be familiar with, unfortunately some of the biggest named ones aren't there. For example Call of Duty mobile is available... American Politics! The phone itself is sleek, very bright, great colours, I like the fingerprint activation on the rear, the speaker is very loud, I really love my phone!! I'm sure in a couple of years China will be producing all the macro/microchips, or what ever it was that they used to buy from America and then Huawei phones will be an awesome phone to own. I will also say that signal strength is very good, I live in a small village and reception is normally pretty bad, since having my Y6p I always get a great connection.
i am thinking of getting it, im just not so sure about the non-google thing about it. anyone please leave a comment to reasure me about it and tell me if its worth to use. thanks
Hi, I never tested Waze application or Google Maps during my time with the device. Perhaps this may be due to a required app/software update. Kindly check with the store in which you bought the phone for further assistance with the GPS issue. Sincerely Jason

Great video - currently I use a MI A2 lite on Android 10 (recent release). How does this phone compare to a local offering from PEP - the Stylo Alpha? At R1800 it looks like a great deal to me. But I have always preferred clean Android devices. I suppose the Stylo is that and has a triple camera setup too - but quality is the bottom line. This where you might provide more insight?
Hi Paul, I have not yet personally sampled the Stylo Alpha, however, on the surface, it appears that the Stylo offers a much more affordable price point, but has a 3500 mAh battery vs the Huawei's 5000 mAh. Apart from this, the Stylo features less RAM (3GB) and memory at 32GB onboard. I think that the Stylo looks good if you simply want a phone for everyday tasks at a good price point, but the Huawei is definitely more catered to a "higher power" type user who enjoys hours of media with its large battery and memory. It costs more to buy but offers that bit more all round.
using it after 3 months of buying it , it is awesome and worth more than the money I love it ❤❤🥰
Congrats on a great choice of device
Thank you for the review. It helped cement my decision. My Phantom Purple phone arrives tomorrow, and I am so excited!
Hi Thea, thank you for your comment. Glad that I could assist. You have made a great choice. All my best, Jason
