It's not frustrating at all - maybe 20 minutes is a bit much BUT at least they took the time to explain to the fathers who had never been in this position before. They were right to ask questions about what's happening and their rights. At least the situation was handled in a professional manner on both sides. Why would every 12 year old know the basics of the law?? At that age a person should know right from wrong - if you do something bold / wrong you get told off and there are consequences for your actions whatever that is these days so you don't do it again. Yes children have committed serious crimes but end up in juvenile centres / prisons or go onto adult prisons but that's only in extreme cases. As the one father said "you see it on TV all the time in various programmes" but when faced with reality - it's totally different.
You clearly don't know many 12 yr olds. Kids aren't smart. That has always been true, but it's more true these days than it ever has been before. Kids know more useless things, yes. But do they have actual life skills that will be a benefit to them in society? No. No they do not.

Dad was having none of it anyway. You can't teach someone remorse (on the spot,) it's something instilled as you are growing up. For law abiding people it doesn't make much sense, but if you're the sort that often ends up on the wrong side of the law, to remain silent is the best advice.

You get drunk enough to pass out on a beach. You leave two kids unsupervised. And you have the nerve to freak out that the cops won't take care of them?
The dads don't want to show the other kids that if you break the law, you get put in jail. The perp walk is the most important part, peer pressure to do better. Letting them hide it and soften the reality of the situation, the fathers are missing an opportunity to present reality as it really is. All your choices have consequences, and you are responsible for them.

"I'm not asking for information" says the father who's been doing nothing except asking for information without answering the officer's questions.
Imo, the girlfriend screaming at her boyfriend about them missing the cruise should've gotten arrested too. She was way more disturbing of the peace than he was!
Come on vacation, leave on probation and return on revocation 🤣🤣
I thought the cop was cool until he equated not talking without an attorney to not be remorseful
my dad would had the cops come right in front of our house and would had called all neighbors out to see me get arrested. that is why i knew enough not to get caught.
7:55 Excuse me Law and Crime, you didn't bleep out the DOB!!!
one of the fathers should have been charged with obstructing...
Why? No one is entitled to help in an officers investigation. Not unless they are under arrest or on the stand. You arent allowed to lie to a cop, but you do have the right to just not say anything.
@@TheNichq Maybe not but the fathers were doing their damndest to control the situation by dictating arresting terms.
@@maxineb9598the father’s were just worried about image and about how THEY might look, not about their sons actual crime
@@brigidocallaghan5236they were worried about the other kids they had with them.
And they weren't obstructing anything they were being respectful and compliant the whole time.
“I wanna make sure my kids are taken care of” if that were true they wouldn’t have been left unattended in the first place💀 passing out on a beach for spring break is not for parents that have their children with them especially young children they’re lucky the kids were not kidnapped
"I wanna make sure my kids are taken care of!" Then take care of them.
I’ll never understand the attraction to alcohol and getting drunk..not everyone who drinks gets drunk and acts like a fool..personally I can’t stand to be around drunk people it’s not fun at all..
My brother hates being drunk, he even tried weed once, hated it. He doesnt like to feel out of control like that. Not that he has control issues lol just over himself. But he likes to sit downwind from me smoking cigarettes, just says he likes the smell lol. Weird guy, love my brother.
If you're going to get drunk and act like a fool and try to fight someone for no reason your going to jail.
That perfectly timed ringtone going off lol
Whoa, this Desert Storm vet is a ticking time bomb.
That dude driving his truck into the ocean was pretty lucky the officers didn't get him for DUI. They didn't seem to want to be bothered.
Mental health crisis’ do exist
I bet it happens often.
Never mind what he was charged with - how did the van go through the sea in those conditions in the first place?
Is the police man allowed to advise on remorse to dad when discussing lawyering up?
Dad was having none of it anyway. You can't teach someone remorse (on the spot,) it's something instilled as you are growing up. For law abiding people it doesn't make much sense, but if you're the sort that often ends up on the wrong side of the law, to remain silent is the best advice.
13:29 I CANT STOP LAUGHING THAT TIMING WAS GREAT 😂
"after a brief call from a galaxy far far away" BRO 💀
now everyone at work is looking at me like I'm crazy 😂
You get drunk enough to pass out on a beach. You leave two kids unsupervised. And you have the nerve to freak out that the cops won't take care of them?
Not mature enough to have kids they’re too selfish! No panic whatsoever when they couldn’t see their kids….OUTRAGEOUS
The ringtone moment 😂😂😂
Dang security cameras. Kids can’t even commandeer a golf car for a couple hours of drunken joyriding anymore. 🥳
Painful to listen to all these people.
Girl just go on the boat alone you'll have a better time without him
Dad with the Kentucky Kings t-shirt was a class act under pressure learning about his son. The leo supervisor was being totally ambiguous and phony especially whilst comparing his own daughters. I think those boys had a wide-eyed wake-up call after this. I wish the boys and the Dads the best.
That’s what the problem is with these kinda parents! They’re to worried about their reputations!
What parents aren't?? I would've done the same thing for my kid. It was a golf cart.
She said she wanted to make sure her kids are taken care of…ya us too…disgusting couple smh. He tried to run on sand in cuffs after they have his id…ya only two beers lol
hahaha the officer being interrupted by his Star Wars ringtone was hilarious.
This detective doesn't typically have much to do. He's really overplaying this. " I'm investigating a crime". Lol. He's acting like he's investigation a bank heist. Lol.
A crime is a crime, and someone has to do the investigation. Are you dense, btw?
OK, I can’t stand the pressure! In 1967, my friend would steal his father’s car, and we filled up at the golf cart pump. He never noticed because we always left him with more gas! Now, I will look out the window waiting for ten years!
Arrested for accessing the beach without paying and arrested. Dude was surfing his truck and surfing trucks should be totally legal.
🤣
This detective has the patience of a saint. I don't understand the two fathers not listening.
Dude runs in handcuffs in the sand.😀😀😂😅😂😅😂😅😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂
THE BALLS ON THIS WOMAN!!!! How dare you!!!! You’re soo worried about your kids except they were in the pool (SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!)… around nothing but strangers while you guys were passed out!!! Disgusting!!! No remorse at all!!!!
When you bring kids of 7 and 8 years, you go on vacation and you act like adults.
After a brief call from a galaxy far, far away...
That was f'in' hilarious!
Bonus points for the Star Wars ringtone!
He let her dogs out, he says. Yeah, they were dumped at a place they don't know. Real kind.
Timothy is a legend, They're still talking about him in THREE states.
Passed out drunk on the beach and now she is worried about her kids!
It’s April, 1st and the dude needs the shade 🤣🤣 suck it up Kentucky. I thought it was summer 😂😂
I initially thought that dad wanted to get away from the 1st one. But he unfortunately padded over to them both...
I love how the one mom didn't care about the kids until they were arrested
Whatever truck that is, I think it’s a tundra. They should use it for their next commercial “tundra tough!” Haha
Steals a backhoe and is released the same day?? WTF is wrong with the American system???
No room in the jails!😅
Liberal freaks are what is wrong!
When there is cooperation between police. & the public, the outcome is calm & safe.
My kids don't get in trouble because they know I'd ask the officers to perp walk them for something like the golf cart deal
As soon as someone says something about talking face to face, you know they are too much already.
Is she on a cruise?
Nahhh the drunk couple is jokes. Dude ran and not only failed in escape he even managed to knock himself out 😂😂
That chick is definitely leaving him after that 😂
Christ almighty…. Why don’t they take them to dinner before they question them…. Wtf
Creep incorrigible tourists. Poor grand-dad!
