Hey, just wanted to note: Another place you could have taken that fear of needles was making sure those quills look super thin and almost cactus-spine-like. The fear of needles for me comes from the sharp and almost subtle deadliness that comes from the thought of being punctured by something so thin that you wouldn’t feel a thing as it went in. Just a suggestion from my mind to yours!

It literally doesn't even look like it's based off of needles but yes I do think it's cool how it started off as a normal type then it became a poison type that's cool

How about giving Sharpine/Crestoxic another evolution that uses its needles to heal others? It could be used in the Pokémon centers of your region. That would also fit the fear of needles, since there are bad and good ones.
Maybe it could have a green or blue color pallet too! I feel like those colors are related to the medical field kinda? Either way though I’m a huge fan of this idea
i was hoping for that too, it would hint that needles aren't always something to be afraid of
It would be so fun if it had a branch evo where you could choose to make it a healing porcimpale or a poison one. Maybe depending on moves you teach it and things you feed it.

I really admire your skill at creating satisying evolutionary lines! You've really mastered the smooth transition from a cute, loveable baby form to progressively tougher, cooler evolutions. It's easy to imagine using and getting attached to the pokémon you design if they were in an official game!

An additional idea for Sharpine's abilirty could be Immunity, so even if it has a build up of its toxins, it is okay unless it has a different ability, in which case it suffers negative effects.
Porcimpale's entire line just blew me out of the water! And Putridome was a great consept well utilized! (And the shinies all rocked)
Thanks for inspiring me to get back into making my own custom pokemon game I've already made a region on spain with my own custom regional forms, evil team and gigantimax forms alongside my own pokemon u really give me the confidence I need

@@starr_lol no, I mean poison touch. It's an ability introduced in black and white. When the pokemon eith the ability makes contact with another pokemon, there is a 30% chance the opponent will be poisoned. It's the hidden ability of the muk and toxicroak evolution lines. It's the normal ability of the alolan muk and dragalge lines plus seismitoad for some reason. Maybe you should ook up the ability before mindlessly telling me I'm wrong.

After seeing the porcupine line you made, I was about to go "this is THE best line in Asone", which I still think is true but then I saw the turtle line. I think the already spectacular Fakemon have just gone onto a whole new level.

We'll definitely need a part 6. You mentioned Putridome's colors confusing predators and I'm wondering what pokemon could possibly want to eat it when it's diet is essentially poison.
A good question, I can only imagine another poison type, maybe an apex poison-type predator in the ecosystem that specializes in building up toxins through ITS diet and utilizing them in various ways.
I got so into the Awesomeness of Porcimpale and his line that for a second I forgot this was a Pokémon Fear video.
Sharpine and Petroluth are so cute~! And Porcimpale has such a great design, the same goes for Putridome!
I want them both in my Pokemon team!

I swear Porcimpale will be the PERFECT EXAMPLE for those Pokemon that "holding an item as a part of themselves for each individual" kind of concept, that has been badly executed over the years with actual disappointing designs from Pokemon Company. They HAVE TO HIRE YOU.

It’s the Pokémon nurse joy use in that region, it may seem odd but I know how it can work. So it’s like a vaccine but a mosquito. It can suck out poison from things and it can inject things with it.
It’s ability can suck status conditions out of a Pokémon in double battles and it can put the conditions onto other Pokémon
It is also not affected by the status conditions when it sucks them out of a Pokémon
As a weapon loving kinda guy who misses the old kaiju mons, I must say ya kinda nailed it.
A first stage early route Normal type has a higher attack stat than Talonflame
Ron has said before that he doesn’t balance the creatures accurately, I don’t know what you were expecting

I don't know where to send those, so here's phobias I would like to see:
Hematophobia - fear of blood
Atychiphobia - fear of failing (maybe it will have an ability which works after failed move?)
Glossophobia - fear of public speaking, or even Lalophonia - fear of trying to speak
Bacteriophobia - fear of bacteria
Octophobia - fear of the figure 8
Your designs are brilliant, but also huge kudos to the names you give them. They're all so spot on.
Finally more asone content. Found your channel the other day and binge watched the entire asone playlist within a day… aha
Fear of disease/blood could make for a good design. We've never had a mosquito Pokemon before. Maybe a vampire motif could be fit into the design somehow. Like making its wings look like Dracula's Cape or giving it two little fangs. Possibly get at the disease aspect of it by making its appendage that it uses to suck blood a syringe.
It could have a signature ability where it has a chance of poisoning its opponent when it uses draining moves. Maybe paires with a new Bug type signature move that's an upgraded version of Leech Life. "Drain Dry" or something.
This series is so amazing!it’s even inspired me to make my own region based on the Midwest states

Another great video with some amazing pokemon. Such well thought out and executed concepts. Of these two lines Putridome is absolutely my favorite. Might not have one on my first play through team, depending on how late in the game you encounter the prevo, but he will certainly make the second.
I take so much inspiration from these videos, and I would love to train a Putridome as well.

I adore both of these pokemon! Poison types are by far my favorite, and I would catch/train these ones in a heartbeat
I love all your designs but I think these two lines in particular are fantastic, the designs are very enthralling and the concept is expertly realised great job.
Potential ideas for future fears to Pokémon:
Pediophobia - Fear of Dolls
Dentophobia - Fear of Dentists
Necrophobia- Fear of Death
Cynophobia - Fear of Dogs
Also can there be Thalassophobia? The fear of deep waters.
Those pink spots on Putridome are a neat little nod to the pink spot found on the heads of male Leatherbacks. I'm not even sure if it was intentional, but it's a cool nod to the animal it's based on.
Dang porciple is sweet, (more like sour). You should make a Pokémon that has a split evolution. Possibly male and female.

I've had a similar idea with the fear of needles, but i instead of combining it with a porcupine, a wasp!
I'm personally terrified of wasps.
Had a cool concept for a ghost/bug type that sort of resembles oogie boogie in a sense. A creepy sack full of bugs that sort of worked as a hive mind of beetles or scarabs, something of the sort. Love ghost and bug type and would be happy to see more! Love the vids man 👌

Interesting to see what pokémon you make out of fears lol
For the porcupine needle pokemon, I probably would have gone Fairy/Poison or Fairy/Steel, and added more of a nurse or doctor theme, since those with a fear of needles often usually have a medical practitioner fear, despite them just trying to help
Fear of Insects/ a Swarm of insects
Entomophobia is a specific phobia characterized by an excessive or unrealistic fear of one or more classes of insect, and classified as a phobia by the DSM-5.
Maybe maybe a Pokémon that’s similar in style to Wishiwashi school form; but as a swarm of insects
Ron, I think a Normal/Poison type skunk would be wonderful. Stunky and Skuntank don't really embrace the cute side of skunks, and I'd love to see you make an adorable skunk-based Pokémon.

Ron what if you created a Pokemon that's a mosquito for the injection and needle phobia. Ik you did a porcupine which looks amazing but the mosquito idea seems cool.
I’d love to catch and use these Pokémon in a playthrough.
If I can make suggestions:
-Autophobia/Monophobia: Fear of being alone
-tonitrophobia: Fear of thunder
-Pyrophobia: Fear of fire
-Selenophobia: Fear of the moon
I'd kill to have Sharpine be a real Pokémon. I love it and its evos so much
Base some on horror movie antagonists like Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Michael Myers (Halloween), Jason Voorhees (Friday The 13th), Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare On Elm Street), Chucky The Doll (Child's Play), Candyman (Candyman), and Ghostface (Scream).
If you want electric type. I recommend with the fear of lightning!

Okay so I decide to come back to watching these after a while and oh my god this is so much more fleshed out, I love the shiny feature too
I was thinking about a pokemon with an abbility based on the material oobleck. Attacks that normally deal much damage, will have their damage cut in half, while attacks that deal low amounts of damages, will have their damage doubled. Raising and dropping the pokemons defense and opponents attack will cause the border of border to shift up and down, so some will deal more and others less damage.
I think the sharpine line should be able to learn a move called turn around this means all attacks done to it have increased damage but the attacker takes damage of random 50/10% of damage done to it this attack lasts 3 turns and while the attack is active the pokemon can also attack but it’s accuracy is halved of the original accuracy
Epic idea but i think it needs a little balancing
The attacker should takes 100% of damage done, but it should work only with physical attack

@@supersparerib To rephrase what the original comment said, the Sharpine line should have a move called "Turn Around". How the move works is that attacks done by opposing pokemon have increased damage but after the attack is done, the opposing pokemon loses 10% to 50% of its health. The user of Turn Around has its accuracy lowered by half. I have some ideas for the move. Turn Around could work like Protect where it has high priority, meaning it will always go first. For balancing reasons, special attacks can bypass Turn Around. And maybe other pokemon can learn the move, like Nidoking and Nidoqueen.
@@nkemjikaononuju6423 almost it’s not that the opposing pokemon loses 50/10% of its health it’s 50/10% of the damage done to the user of turn around is done the the attacker.
this is cool I love these, I even made some based on fears for my region, one based on Plutophobia and the other one I made was based on Astrophobia
Might I suggest this (my own fears)
1. Fear of being forgotten or forgetting
2. Fear of being alone
3. Fear of being in a large crowd

Fun fact: the nose hole in a skull is called your Nasal Aperture
I think a cool signature move for the Porcupine pokemon would be a around 70 base power physical non-contact poison move that has a 30% badly poisoning the target, but when used on an ally will heal them instead. Basically the idea behind this would be that you could both use harmful substances and healing substances in an injection, and the pokemon could choose which to use. I think that could be cool.

I have an idea for a Muk variant for my own region based on Alaska (Iski) that is made of a sludge similar to crude oil and produces petroleum after eating plants. Even though they're listed as Iskan variant, I wrote that they're found in most areas with crude oil reserves, so Putridome could be this new Muk's predator, if you wanted to use it or a similar idea.
I used to watch your i drew my own Pokémon by my walk those were epic keep it up 👍 .
