Let's hope the Home Alone films don't get removed on Disney+ after 2 months on the service and move to HBO or Starz next year.
This is the first time Disney+ talks about Home Alone a lot, so it's less likely it'll be put on there for a while

That’s because Fox had a deal with HBO years ago, and the deal is supposed to expire in 2024.
@@TwilightLink77 Let's not forget that in 2013, Starz signed a deal with 20th Century Fox to stream the rights to some of their Pre-2012 films and that would explain why the majority of the Fox films leave Disney+ without notice 2-4 months later.
So Disney has to contend to not just HBO who has the streaming rights for the 20th Century Studios films but also Starz.

Why do we need a special look at Home Alone? I grew up with this film, it is one of my favorites, and I know so much of this film by heart I can recite line after line. This film is 30 years old, almost as old as me.

And I thought Moira Rose was the worst mother Catherine O'Hara ever played.

I don't agree actually. Kevin is sassy and talks back A LOT. Like a lot, let me tell you my son will not just have to go to bed earlier if he called me dumb, fight ad just scream shut up. Kevin and his mom are a lot alike, and we understood at the beginning of the movie that Kevin is overprotected by his mother. He's baby's mama. She doesn't hate him at all, she makes him realize the weight of his worlds. You don't like your family ? Let's see if another would be better.

Because Kevin's aunt and uncle live in Paris and their daughter have been living in Chicago with Kevin and his family so they wanted to give Kevin and his family a trip to Paris for the holidays so they can all be together.

My first time seeing Home Alone was around 2005 and seen the part 2 in 2007. Thanks 20th Century Fox and Hughes Entertainment. Also thanks to the amazing writers and directors Chris Columbus, Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern for both amazing Home Alone 1 and 2. Thank you too, Disney.

Fun Fact: John Hughes was penning a third Home Alone film around 1994 with hopes of a 1995 release, and have all of the core cast of the McAllister family reprising their roles. However Macaulay Culkin opted to step away from acting after completing Richie Rich in 1994. This resulted in Hughes shelving the script and rewriting the story for what became Home Alone 3 in 1997 with a new cast and new family.

@@cadefilms4072 The Home Alone 3 that we got was not the one that we were supposed to get. The original plan for it was that as many of the main cast members from the first two movies as possible would return for a third Christmas outing as Kevin had what would have been his final battle with Harry and Marv to finish up what was originally meant to be only a trilogy. Unfortunately, Macaulay Culkin had dropped out of child acting before it could happen, though I understand that some of the plot elements were used in Home Alone 4: Taking Back The House, hence the presence in that movie of Kevin, his parents and siblings and Marv, although they were played by different actors that time and, in fact, It's considered to take place in a different reality.

I always get a big laugh watching this and Home Alone 2
That must be one sound proof attic. Or Kevin is a sound sleeper to not hear any commotion downstairs the next morning when everybody was frantically running around trying to leave to catch their flight . I know it's a movie but how can a family leave to go on vacation and forget their child? That's the art of doing a movie. There has to be a good story. The movie is a great classic movie though.
