I paid £250 for mine 4 years ago and she's still going strong. I got her cheap because she failed the MOT due to a broken coil spring which was an easy fix, and the roof didn't work (not an MOT thing) which turned out to be the microswitch in the driver's A pillar. I've changed the exhaust and not much more in the time I've had her. She cruises at 70mph on the motorway at just over 3k revs in 5th and gives good fuel economy. I would gladly buy another or maybe move up to the 307cc.
@@patrickmj3316 it was a better size for me, option for the luggage rack, which is perfect for trips away on the continent, 1.6 HDI instead of the 2.0 HDI meaning fuel savings, and because I practically served my time on 206's so I knew them a lot better. So far, so good. The wind breaker works better on the 206 too and the chassis feels better, it's seriously huge fun!
Had one a little while back, 2003 model, soon started with electrical gremlins. Couldn't lock it at night. Hazards used to come on in the middle of the night so had to disconnect the battery. Had to drive with headlights on all the time as they would randomly come on and turn off again anyway while driving. Roof used to stick halfway. Took it back and they swapped it for a Fiesta..
@@duncanedwards7840 You are right. When I had a flat tire while on a highway, i carried mine in back seats. It was not a good thing to do, since you can’t lay the tire down because it doesn’t fit but duable. Sorry for my comment.
My wife bought one of these (04 plate.. 69k on the clock) damn thing packed up on the way home. long story short .. avoid this car she took it back to the dealer and bought a ford puma 1.7 instead cool little car!

I have had my 206 cc for 7 years now. :)
The brakes work. No problem with them.

@@adambrickley1119 why would you put a roof rack on a convertible? get a van maybe..
@@adambrickley1119 why would you put a roof rack on a cc?
@@adambrickley1119you can put a rack on it, that's why the bars are on the rear, it's for extra luggage when going away on holiday
Just bought it 🙌
How is it now? How much did you pay for it and how many kilometres?
There's one sale and I'm seriously considering it. Can't make my mind up.
I just bought one♡_♡
@@Paulienxxx Congrats, I actually didn't purchase because the roof wasn't working but I've heard they are beautiful cars.
I love mine, beautiful cars!

Can i put a spare tire in the rear seats?
Nope, except backback, it is almost impossiple to put anything in rear seats. They are narrow, and seats backs are fixed on baggage
Yes of course you could ,if you just wanted to plonk it there ! Strap it in though !
@@LzBl4ck of course they could.
