We’re headed here later this summer (I’m sure it will be hot!) but looking forward to hopefully seeing some wildlife and the lakes/dams! Thanks for taking us along! This was a great preview. 🎉
WMNWR is my happy place. You’re lucky to have seen so many bison. We live in Medicine Park and had friends from Fort Worth visiting recently…didn’t see any. They didn’t believe us 😂. Babies are called “red dogs”.
Thanks - didn't know about "red dogs" - love it! Maybe share the video with your friends so they can see there really are bison there! Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for watching. We were just going by what the Park called them, as well as the definition: "Bison have large humps at their shoulders and bigger heads than buffalo. They also have beards, as well as thick coats which they shed in the spring and early summer."
@@FollowTheMoon Bison and buffalo are the same damn thing. Do you think bison only breed with bison and buffalo only breed with buffalo? That's why they're the same animal. Yes some may look a little different than others but that's how animals are they're not all identical. Buffalo are native to America and been breeding together for centuries. That's why they're the same animal no matter what Google told you.
We have a very similar park(not near as large) at Battelle - Darby Creek on the Madison/Franklin County south of Columbus. It is a wonderful experience to see them.
Thanks goodness our videos run a few weeks behind our travels - we're actually in North Dakota at this time. The weather was just starting to get crazy - our last stay in Oklahoma we had sirens going off at 2 am, but no issues.
@@jessyhavron2548 we must have hit an off time or odd day, but it wasn't bad when we were there. There was a motorcycle cruise-in starting that evening, so I'm sure they do have some busier times. Thanks for watching!
Happy yall liked my home town. Yall keep up the great work much love from Lawton Fort Sill Oklahoma. *** THE GERBLAXICAN ***

Thanks so much for watching! This spot amazed us with the beautiful land and all of the wildlife. We're glad you enjoyed coming along with us.

Thanks for watching! This one surprised us at how beautiful it was. Glad you enjoyed.
They're called buffalo. Tourists and city folk call them bisen. Park rangers might say bison but locals say buffalo. Awesome place!!!

Thanks for letting us know - we'll definitely put that on our list for our next time through Ohio!
Crazy month to be in Oklahoma. Hope you have been able to avoid the bad storms.

Medicine Park to crowed no parking and streets to narrow. To many people for that small of town.😢

Probably there on a weekend. Try a Wednesday next time.
@@737Parkie totally agree. It was a week day for us, and as you can see in the video it wasn't at all crowded. It was awesome. Thanks for watching!
