WMNWR is my happy place. You’re lucky to have seen so many bison. We live in Medicine Park and had friends from Fort Worth visiting recently…didn’t see any. They didn’t believe us 😂. Babies are called “red dogs”.

Thanks goodness our videos run a few weeks behind our travels - we're actually in North Dakota at this time. The weather was just starting to get crazy - our last stay in Oklahoma we had sirens going off at 2 am, but no issues.

We have a very similar park(not near as large) at Battelle - Darby Creek on the Madison/Franklin County south of Columbus. It is a wonderful experience to see them.

They're called buffalo. Tourists and city folk call them bisen. Park rangers might say bison but locals say buffalo. Awesome place!!!

Thanks for watching. We were just going by what the Park called them, as well as the definition: "Bison have large humps at their shoulders and bigger heads than buffalo. They also have beards, as well as thick coats which they shed in the spring and early summer."

@@FollowTheMoon Bison and buffalo are the same damn thing. Do you think bison only breed with bison and buffalo only breed with buffalo? That's why they're the same animal. Yes some may look a little different than others but that's how animals are they're not all identical. Buffalo are native to America and been breeding together for centuries. That's why they're the same animal no matter what Google told you.

@@jessyhavron2548 we must have hit an off time or odd day, but it wasn't bad when we were there. There was a motorcycle cruise-in starting that evening, so I'm sure they do have some busier times. Thanks for watching!
