    Nice project Brother. I think I'll try this. It might look nice with some quarter round molding.

    Ripping with a rip blade could help preventing jamming 👍

      I agree! He just earned a Sub from me. I especially like the fact he uses real world affordable tools that most of us can afford

    I really like the project....very newbie friendly. I find it disappointing to see a project I like and go to watch the video and they have these very expensive tools. My scroll saw and jig saw are 20 years old, my router is 25 yrs old and my table saw is a month old. Nice to see a video with what the average person would have in their garage.

      saggioculo I’ve got some other projects coming out soon that only use a drill and some hand tools! Thanks for the comment!

      @@themissionandthemaker I can't wait to see your new video! I've made your lantern but inset a mason jar lid on the bottom, cut a 1" hole in bottom of jar then put the candle on the lid and screwed the jar into the lid. If the candle falls or a windy day, candle is inside the jar. Unscrew the jar to replaced candle.

    Nice sturdy lantern. Is it difficult to find that type of light that you used.

    How long were the brackets?

    • @themissionandthemaker
      @themissionandthemaker  2 года назад +1

      You can really make them whatever length you want, but make sure your uprights are 3x as long. i.e. if your brackets are 4" wide, your uprights should be 12" tall.

    Everybody! Sanding, cutting or spraying paints and coatings without at least a paper P100 or N95 mask (for aerosols) will slowly destroy your lungs and will catch up with you later on. Even working outside.

    Why make the video and want people to learn if you can't even explain the sizes you are using

    I have checked many woodworking plan sites. I think the instructions from Woodprix are the best.
