Happy new year mate and happy be-lated birthday,, amazing video stunning scenery, , gutted about v weather so close to v peak mate ,, missed ur escape vids , really enjoyed this ❤
Great video mate. It was a wise move to turn back, if you weren't confident about going on.. Shame you were so close to summit. But at least you live to tell the tale & not waisted mountain rescue etc.. The mountain isn't going anywhere. So better luck next time, although you done very well to make it as far as you did. So hats off & well done. I've subscribed. So I will look forward to watching your next attempt when hopefully you get up to the top... Goodluck!
It's gutting but good on you for getting that far. It can be blistering sun at the bottom and snowing on the top it's mental. Turning back was a wise move. You should do the west Highland way. You get some beautiful sights . I done it a couple of years ago and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The views are just spectacular 👌 Welldone 😊 Auld Nevis will still be there when your ready to go back and dance on its heid 😉
Hi Jay, You will regret not pushing on for the last bit, So close yet so far! It will be windy at around 4000 ft but it looked more like 30-40 mph not the 70 you thought however safely first, I once had to turn back a touch further North near ski resort due to a blizzard and no visibility, I was so near top but getting blown off feet was not fun and no point in risking life for a mountain which will be there another day! I wish you success on your next attempt no dought you will have plenty company with hundreds or thousands in summer conditions! Good effort anyway! Cheers Mark!
My incentive to get up amountain was to have a ciggarette at the top. Wouldn't have one till got there. Used to carry quite a weight including a 10lb Hilleberg Tarra tent, but the weight didnt bother me as could climb forever.
Come on yer milking it ...the ben path is a slog theres mountains surrounding it that are way harder to get up .......joking apart well done good effort and stay safe ...theres a part called windy corner and its called that for a reason
Well done 👍 , still had a bit to go tho
The Loch is about halfway
Good decision in the end
Iv'e been up The Ben 8 times and don't blame you for turning back. Good decision. New Subscriber by the way.

You have the wrong clothes, and you have no idea . That weather is not bad, unless of course you're a Hysterical Englishman.
