  • Cape to Cape's first visit to Nannup was a day full of epic trails and excitement for more than 600 hundred participants.
For the second day in a row it was Connor Wright applying the pressure and making moves. He made his first move as the first riders entered the Tank 7 MTB Park and upped the pace. His speed and technical ability saw him lead the way across the incredible single trails.
In the closing stages Cam Ivory showed why he is a national champion, as he raced away and even a late slide couldn't stop him riding off to a solo victory and into the leader's jersey. Behind them Brent Rees claimed second with Connor Wright taking third in a photo finish ahead of Reece Tucknott.
Rebecca Henderson was again on fine form as she again took top honours in the women's field to consolidate her race lead. Izzy Flint scored her second, second place in a row with Sarah Tucknott rounding out the stage podium.

It was a fun day even at the back of the field where i was. The trails are equally good no matter where you are.

How techy are the trails? Green, blue? Mostly flow or some rocky stuff too?
