“Diesel Dualies are big, The CHEV Avalanche is big” CHEV? You shortened Chevy which is already short for Chevrolet? Dafaq Lorr? (Short for Lorri, short for Lorriman)
Can also make one probably for cheaper than what they are selling it for. Just buy the chassis and put a truck box on it along with a couple of other things on it.
Responding to a couple of comments, first of all ,FORD makes their on diesels now and international does not use cummins engines , international makes their on brand also .
The 6.0's are very reliable when they are 100% STOCK throw on a tuner, injectors, etc. And thats when they blow head gaskets. My uncle has an '03 F250 6.0 for towing their 10,000+ lbs camper and it has just under 300,000 miles (100,000+ miles from towing the camper) with no problems, just routine maintenance (Fluid changes, tires, glow plugs, etc.)
ar15freak didn't Ford get sued over the 6.0 litter ??? I've know many guys with it from in a towing truck to regular and they all busted. And yes regular maintenance was done on them. I think your uncle got lucky cause trust me there were more people that had issues than not with that 6.0 litter
@@robertbetz2933 actually if the 6.0 is bulletproofed than it's quite reliable. They are great engines. The only thing wrong is the shitty government restrictions.
The 1500, suburban and Avalanche are big compared to typical vehicles of other countries. Those are basically the size of delivery vehicles in Europe. This truck wouldnt even make it on their roads.
Those specs of yours only apply to GASOLINE power, Diesel is more torque and less fuel to power it along so its more like from 7-10 MPG and it was built with 4WD so this would put those ugly mud mod trucks to shame.
Only meant to look good? That thing tows sixteen thousand pounds and has excellent off-road capabilities. It definitely has a purpose, but I'd agree for people who never tow anything and drive around town. I'm actually looking at this for its usability, not the attention grabbing qualities. I'd be happy to look at other trucks if you can point to something more efficient that doesn't sacrifice capacity, both towing and off-road, in exchange. After all, that milage is painful, even on paper.
problem is they are using parts you can't just find at a normal parts shop which means if you break down somewhere, better hope they have a truck shop nearby
Dana rear end, off the shelf other stuff you can find where they sell pickup parts, otherwise yeah other stuff and doing any work on something like this requires a shop that can handle such large trucks, they start at 10,500 pounds.
In EU 250.000miles (400.000km) for diesel car (Opel 2.2 CDTI etc) is end of its life... then you have to buy pump and fuel injectors witch cost almost twice what car is worth. I bet this 6.0 PickUp can easily double it (mileage) before you would have to spent its equivalent on some part. Well, 1.000.000 miles could be too much for this one but half million (800.000km) wouldn't be a problem. I know in US it isn't impressive but in EU 300.000+miles (500.000+km) on clock is very rare.
' oh no no... what wrong with this big truck MXT... why this truck dont have 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights for turning signals... not safety... must return sending back to MXT company and put 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights right away... hurry up - rush up
One of the mistakes that some american car manufacturers have made is building such unnecessarily huge and completely impractical kind of vehicles that are only good for showing off. If they wanted to build a truck like this, why didn't they just introduce armoured versions of these, like the Kombat T98, the Conquest Knight XV and the likes. Otherwise what's the whole point of spending a 6-figure amount on a truck that's only meant to look good.
Only if you put in yourself after buying it, otherwise your driving a Truck with Their own engine be it the old DT or VT, as of 2009 they use MaxxForce.
This is for near broke fools, it's their pre-foreclosure party piece. Completely impractical, environmentally unfriendly gas hog. If I had the money to buy it, I wouldn't be hauling my own junk around, I'd sit cozy in my Lexus and point what needs to go where.
Billa 48 you mean to say you wish you could sit in your Lexus, but your old hag ass wife will be telling “YOU” where to put what needs to go where! Grow a set and be a man. Who cares how much gas it drinks. Top fuel dragsters burn like 14 gallons in 4 seconds
In 2019 a used one goes for $125k even with a 6 liter and lower power specs than every diesel truck from the time, not to mention the butt ugly front end. I can't believe they looked at the model of the hood and said "yep that'll do it"
International never owned Cummins or made them, they do have their own engine and since '09 Maxxforce engines is their main engine line. The XT line uses the older Navistar DT and VT engines. Dodge uses Cummins which is it's own company but Dodge builds the blocks with their own parts to full spec.
I can GUARANTEE that this truck won't have a hope in hell of getting a million miles on the odometer. Not with a 6.0 in it. Biggest POS diesel ever made. Not enough engine for a truck of this size and weight and the duty cycle will kill it. Also bear in mind that this is nowhere near a class 7 or 8 OTR tractor and thus can't be compared to them in terms of longevity and even those don't get million without work done. Heavy duty diesels have sleeved blocks the 6.0 does not. BIG difference.
jfdb59 yes but don't forget the 6.0L has come a long way from what they sold Ford in the late 90's early 2000's I guarantee you that this engine would put run a pos Ford diesel and chevy and definitely dodge Cummings it's a fact. Just because it's a smaller international doesn't mean shit. Look around you ffs there's lots of these engines in delivery trucks of all shapes and sizes and they go well beyond half a million miles
"the bottom of the box is ribbed for your pleasure"....sweet
im haved this car and im loved the brake push button
This is a must have for the cartel kingpin on the rise!
A kick ass truck that should be reintroduced.
I agree.
I'd watch this all day long.
Fantástica! Deveriam trazer para o Brasil!
Saw a few of these MXTs and CXTs in Dubai and Qatar - towing big fancy trailers for racing camels.
I now need to look up camel racing. Lol. Somehow I don't doubt you saw them in Dubai...
“Diesel Dualies are big, The CHEV Avalanche is big” CHEV? You shortened Chevy which is already short for Chevrolet? Dafaq Lorr? (Short for Lorri, short for Lorriman)
The things is that Avalanche was actually smaller than the smallest full size chevy pickup the 1500
@@Bhaidostyaar it’s just slightly smaller than a crew cab short bed. Its based on a suburban.
@@Tungsten23 yeah ik thats what I said bro, its the shortest of the shortest.

Fom the side,it looks like a giant version of the original Toyota Land-Cruiser.No bad thing at all
LMAO.. the bottom of the box is ribbed, for your pleasure.
muito bom......
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
my family freinds had one and they used it as a daily driver
I had no idea that the travelall, scout and light duty trucks made by International were commercial vehicles?
2:21)What we have here are shackles to tie down or to lift the truck. They have to be removed to hook on a tow bar.
Would love to have one of these. Not for a daily driver so much, but more as a recreational off-road vehicle.
You can still try for work or towing something really heavy
paint it all black with a big monster sticker logo on the hood, some bronze or gold rims, and a license plate that says "ribbed"
this is a cool truck, but the tow is a kind of low. and i think the brakes can be dangerous in offroad, they are expous to rocks i think.what u think?
I thought the same haha!.. greetings from Mexico City!
NOW THAT IS A REAL TRUCK💪💪💪💪
No I thought the mirror used to see forward 😂
You could tow a lot of boat with this!
Responding to a couple of comments, first of all ,FORD makes their on diesels now and international does not use cummins engines , international makes their on brand also .
Dream truck.
I still miss my '78 Scout.😢
@2:52 he says "and the bottom of the box is actually ribbed...for your pleasure" haha sounds like a trojan commercial or something

Omg, this is the truck I would get for pulling.

I like being a hunter!
Didn’t Hobbs from fast and furious drive one of these
Meu sonho!
Nice Ride
2:51 Why did he say that the bottom of the box is ribbed for your pleasure???
Because it is...
Steak Rather than Broccoli? When the hell did this turn into the food channel?
Why is it ribbed again?
Para Colombia lo traen cual es el valor cuanto cuesta?
I wonder if you have to have a cdl to own one
None of the XTs require CDL unless you tow more than 10,000 pounds or use it commercially.
Boom You Know The Truck Is Slowing Down Lmafo
jamerz Zeetall small ass lights😂
exiting car
"You're gonna have the truck for years to come, because it's built...like a truck."
Probably the dumbest quote I have ever heard.
Especially when it has the 6.0 in it and breaks down all the time
@@robertbetz2933 actually if the 6.0 is bulletproofed than it's quite reliable. They are great engines. The only thing wrong is the shitty government restrictions.
I wish the xt trucks to make a comeback.
if you do not use it for commercial purposes you would not need a commercial driver's license correct
why did use the 6.0 engine it is junk the 7.3 0r 466 would be the best choice .............
quanto custa esta camionete para até chegar no Brasil

So how does it do on gas. !
I'm asking for my friend 'Brandon' 😏
I want one! NOW
ok u probably get 1 mpg and u cant go mudding in it cuz its heavy and if u want to tow stuff u can just by a dully for probably less then that

talk about compensating via your truck
300.000 miles for a car in 90% means end of life...
1.000.000 miles for truck is just a half of it!!
Can't get a fifth wheel. Can't get airbag suspension. Not a big truck.

New Dodge 3500 has more power and tows more I believe............ Oh, and you can park it
"Itself."
its a shame that you cant put a 5th wheel in it. looks awesome tho
You can fifth wheel, but would require buying a tailor made dolly and some addition to the hitch system on the MXT.
I beg to differ. Ill make a 5th wheel hitch to fit. Even if ir requires lifting the trailer
so do you need a cdl to drive it or what
