Ashley What a performance you are the pioneer on everything about external cleaning very easily to be enthusiastic I believe no small o big jobs frighten to you I reckon It's to have time for every body very impressive every time well done ...!!! That is Paul's son...???It's a great help Thank you for sharing this.
Ash I think you're always suppose to start up the SkyVac Industrial with the white button motor first... And switch off the reds buttons first and white last when shutting it down.
Hey this is one of my favourite videos. I’m not asking you to tell us how much your charged but what is the average going rate for commercial gutter clears per meter
You’ve got to cleaning pole, especially the you band which is extra wide to minimise blocking. Where do you buy it from? Please can you get different sizes? What pole system and machine are you using for it all? Thank you very much. Great video as always. The camera set up, please.
With that job being fairly low level I thought it looked like it may have been easier and quicker to have used a single length off ladder with a stand off so you could see inside the gutter. Then just move it along regularly, especially at the back where it was a trough without the ins and outs. Nice job anyway, looks like the neighbour needs to get someone in for the back!
Yeah, I did it by hand for many years. It can lead to all sorts of liability and health & safety issues, especially for a commercial situation like this. I have become much more sensible in my old age.😜👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't meaning to say to clear the gutter out by hand without the vacuum. I was meaning to use a ladder so you could position yourself and see inside the gutter and then use the vacuum off the ladder. It would have allowed you to see what you had and hadn't vacuumed up easier than via the camera as quite a bit of the time it seems you end up going over the same bit trying to get all of the bits which would be easier to do if you could see directly into the gutter, especially with the in and out bits at the front of the building. However, I understand your point about H&S, especially on commercial jobs and also the point of being on the ladder adds in the risk of a fall compared to having 2 feet firmly on the ground. Speed on a particular job isn't the only consideration I guess. 👍
Ah, I see what you mean. Yes, that’s why for some parts Owen ended up following me round with the camera on the pole. You can mount it on top of the gutter vac poles if you want, but it can get in the way sometimes, so a separate pole can be handy.👍🏼
I've finally upgraded my vac to a sonic and finally for this cool little generator on its way to me . One question I have is do you run these generators in eco mode ? I always ran my smaller Genny with eco off .for some reason I thought I had to 🤣.
Can you please tell us about the generator? I've just purchased the same SkyVac but forgot about the power source 😅 So now I am looking for the generator. Thank you
I normally use the customers plug socket, but having the generator makes commercial jobs much easier. It is enough to generate the power I need to run the 3600w vac without any trouble.👍🏼
Hey Ash, when are you doing an episode on the guy who won all that stuff?? It would be really interesting to see what they have done and how they have progressed since they won.
Ah, yeah, that was a real shame. I met with the guy a few times to try and help him, but the last I heard he had sold the kit. So that was a bit annoying to say the least.🤷🏻♂️😡
@@aemackintosh You’re kidding me! That’s absolutely sickening, there were so many people (myself included) starting out who would’ve benefited so much from all that gear and business advice. What an absolute waste 😡
Yeah, I really wanted to turn things around for someone. There’s a saying I like: give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime. But I guess there’s no helping some people.👎🏼
Hey ash I was just wondering where do u disposal all the stuff from the gutter as I’m looking to get into this stuff but if I was to use my bin it would get full and not be able to get it emptied fast enough
How do you find the new hose m8? I have used it twice and twice it choked up solid? Any tips? Went back to the older grey wider hose never choked once.
I like this one as it’s more flexible and easier to move around, but when the muck in the gutter is very sticky it can clog up the hose and poles. You can wash it through by sucking up half a bucket of water.👍🏼
I have now put all my best videos and information into my courses to help others in business:

What a great video as always Ashley - we love seeing our equipment be featured on your RUclips channel! Thank you 👍🏼
Thanks! It’s always good to have great equipment to help you get the job done.👍🏼
They hired the right professional for the job. Your ingenuity is showing with your "fixes" to the obstacles. Happy for you Ash.
Thanks for your comments! It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it!😜👍🏼

Thanks! Owen is not related to me or Paul. He is hard working and great to have around. Building his own business too.👍🏼
Great video Ashley, the generator is a fantastic piece of equipment. Well done!
Very handy on these commercial jobs.👍🏼

Yes, that’s true. Good detail to remember.👍🏼
I probably have very limited uses for that generator, but I want one!!
It would be an expensive way to charge your phone!😆👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Lol yes true, I was thinking maybe my spray unit or even vacuum etc, its a nice bit of kit though!
Great job, have been debating whether to spend the money on a gutter vac. Definitely a good tool
Well worth it.👍🏼

A lot depends on your business and how you sell your services.

Best gutter vac on the market.
😎👍🏼

Sometimes you can put it in a garden Waste bin, or under a bush nearby, or compost heap.👍🏼

Are you able to get a bigger suction attachment?
That wide one is the biggest. They also do one that looks a bit like a funnel.👍🏼
That's the best one to use I find.my go to fitment for most gutters at the moment.
we where told by spinaclean that the skyvac industry need 5kw gen to run it. I see yours is only 350kw
Anyone wanting to see video of gutters being cleaned is sad imo, good for your channel but a crap idea.
