Oct 1: Candle & Crow by Kevin Hearne (book 3 in Ink & Sigil) - The Great When by Alan Moore - A Grim Reaper's Guide to Catching a Killer by Maxie Dara Oct 21: Drumindor by Michael J Sullivan (book 5 Riyria Chronicles)
I love your list Holly! Here are a few I'd add: - Absolution by Jeff Vandermeer. Book 4 in the Southern Reach "trilogy" - Model Home by Rivers Solomon. Haunted house book by Rivers Solomon: say no more! - Coup de Grace by Sophia Ajram. A horror novella about a man trapped in an infinite Montreal subway station (think "the backrooms") - The Book of Witching by C.J. Cooke. A witchy novel about a mother and daughter relationship, by the author of The Lighthouse Witches and The Nesting (I'm waiting to see some early reviews, but I've liked some of the authors previous work)
Good Dogs has piqued my interest. Not enough decent werewolf books out there. I'd also recommend Red Moon by Benjamin Percy. I think I heard about Blood of Old Kings on your channel before, sounds good. Foul Days was pretty good, looking forward to Monstrous Nights. Fury of the Gods can't come soon enough. If you're itching for that to come out Anthony Ryan's A Tide of Black Steel might scratch that itch in the meantime. Only 100 pages in and already brilliant
If anyone has read The Last Gifts of the Universe; can you please drop me a warning if the cat dies, because I'm so excited for this book but my heart can't handle pet-death right now...
Me at the beginning of the video: bring it on!! Me not even halfway into the video: 🥲 it’s going to be okay. I will eliminate the unnecessary things, like food. 🤣❤️
I'm more of a lurker on your channel, but I always appreciate these videos every month and by the end of them my wishlist is always longer!
Glad you like them!
