I had forgotten all about the plugs I put in my Husqvarna 572 and Echo 7310. 10mmX1 with flush Allen head in stainless with copper gasket from Amazon. Both saws start pretty easy on just a couple of pulls. Happy to see ya moving about easier, keep up the rehab!
Always an interesting video with Donnie, glad to see you are healing up and moving better. Used stock dogs on my 2100's , whole career, never thought anything about getting bigger ones. Shortest bar was a 42" , ah the 1970's nothing but big wood.
Great comments about the "bling" some guys like to put on their saws, such as the fancy big dogs. To each his own, but I could never wrap my head around the practicality.
The husky decomp is an upgrade to the stihl 660. The stock stihl ones dont work right with added compression and pop up mid pull all the time. My 660 has a husky decomp with 2 extra holes drilled in the side of it so it pulls over nice and easy, it's nasty to start without the decomp.
I am getting a 620pw next week and will be plugging the decomp. I have been running a 066 for 27 years with the decomp plugged and never had a problem starting it.
@donnywalker4691 right about when it feels like it shld be good it feels like it wants to keep turning and strip. So far the only model we've had this issue on
I was just thinking about removing the decomp on my CS-7310. It has buildup around it so I think it leaks. It’s only a couple months old. Dealer said that’s normal but I don’t remember that on the Husqvarna 55 ( which I did plug after running it for a while ) . Nice topic. Do you recommend using any thread lock or just tighten down?
Hi don got a 3400 poulan will not bring fuel up to carb I have tried everything you pour gas in carb and pull and it will finally start I have even pulled head of and put new rings in I have two other ones they work just need a little help maybe some insite some one else suggestions on it thanks I like your channel thanks dave
@ thanks Dave you need to start from the fuel filter to carb if fuel line is good how about the pulse line or pulse hole and yes of course the carb you could call me if you can’t figure it out 1 250 327 1934

Thanks again sir!
Would be awesome if you did a 359 video speaking of leaky decomps 😁.
Very good pal, thanks for the info 👍
Anything for you big Bizzare Ben
Hey best OIL ?
So what do you do about the hole in cover? Does it need plugged to promote the airflow around cylinder?
Donny I plug them all when I build a saw for someone.

Good stuff
Be careful on the 572 huskies we've had issues with them stripping. Feels like weak threads or different material in the cylinder on those
Maybe it was tightened enough I haven’t yet had that problem

592xp would u remove it? I wont crank my 372 385 with using comp release. But will it bother a new saw???
Cuánto de compresión tiene que tener un motor de motosierra 445 quosvarna
Should have at least 100 or more psi
Gracias maestro saludos y cuídese

Same thread pitch?
