Hey Sound bites! So Lisa contacted me recently and suggested the idea of doing a live action video for this song to celebrate the release of the Tomb Raider movie & the rumoured new game. Wow, Gav. Lisa must be so jealous. I mean, what is a desert and a crashed plane compared to a room covered in black curtains? Uncomparable.
As for the song, I think it's a good one for a music video (easier to do than NBG or Hell to Pay). My one problem with the song, the chorus rhyming "world" with "world" and "me" with "me", doesn't bug me as much and stick out compared to the first time I listened to it.
Did you rerecord it, or just film the music video? It sounds like the latter to me, but still, seeing the music video was really cool.
I went looking for "the edge of the world" soundtrack from afk journey. Found this and have listened it for like 30 times now. Really enjoyable!❤

I loved your scenes in this by the way. You seemed like an ominous out of this world figure having fun with a human who has a rocking voice and you two just go at it it out rocking each other. I have no idea what I'm saying BUT I LOVED THIS.

Nice to see you try something like this, Gav! The idea of live action vids is great and I hope you'll make more in the future. However, I've some criticism and don't want to sound like a douche expressing it...
Video, to my mind, lacks some certainty in the direction. `The song is filled with struggle and accomplishment and seeing Lisa with a happy smile singing to some unseen foe "don't try to stop me... I will stand on he edge of the world, no matter what it costs me" is a little jarring. The vid felt more like you two rocking to the song and enjoying it, rather than a video that should accompany the narrative of the song.
Anyway, it's always awesome to see your glorious self appear in videos. Thank you for amazing work you do, Gav, and songs you create!

I'll be honest, I really like the song, have for a while, but this video seems fairly uninspired. It kinda looks like it was made for the sake of making it, and doesn't have much to it aside from Gavin's amazing talent and a hot girl

Nice video, could be better. Pretty good music as always. Lisa's lip synching seemed a bit off. Also, a little more action for such an action oriented video game would not be untoward. I know you can't recreate in game stunts for risk and cost reasons, but even a little bit of running and jumping, maybe some tumbles and action poses might have improved the visuals of the 'live action' over the pretty tepid walking and gyrating around.

I mean, we all know that Lisa is gorgeous and this video reaffirms that. Hot damn. But seriously damn, Gavin, how badass can you get? You're really rocking in this one.
Good production and good vocals from both of you, but this is too much standard midtempo rock for me. I prefer the intensity and originality of other songs like Hell to Pay, Upside Down or Lady of Worlds!

Not sure if it worked for me but I don't mind it. Certainly has some room for improvement as far as music videos go, but it's not bad. It'll be cool to see another one in the future for sure. I don't see live footage of Gavin too often, so it is always welcome. And Lisa has some nice abs so I guess this vid is a net positive =]

Hot damn, that was a snazzy video. The only thing that might have improved it would have been Gavin getting out there as well, rocking out on top of a mountain or some such.
