    Thanks for taking the effort to share this. Any idea on how thick the central sleeve is/ was? I'm wondering if it could be tapped (with say an M6 thread) and periodically removed to have a grease nipple screwed in, and fresh grease pumped through it. ...I too am curious, as to just how a unit with play in, would feel after replacing with new balls (+ full clean up and regrease); can't help but wonder if wear to the spindle and other races might mean that it'll still have a tiny amount of slop.

      Hi, sorry i dont have it under my hands anymore. Yes if the spindle is worn, it would probably still have play. This is only good for adding new ball bearings and a refresh of grease
