He has so much humanity and soul in his music. Tremendous talent uninhibited by being himself anonymous. Its not fair to compare him to other players. He has a very unique signature sound. Players from all sorts of genres are listening to his playing.. Evolving with every output. Cant wait to hear whats next
I don't think Buckethead will ever be rated in a top ten liste of best guitarist of all time, and I feel it is truly a tragedy to music. He is underrated and underappreciated.
Did Van Goph sell any paintings whilst he was alive? No and now we can only find his work in the museums and houses of billionaire collectors... Buckethead is the Picasso of our musical generation, he is the Van Goph of the guitar strings, one day far away, when he's gone, when I'm gone, when we're all gone my friends.. People will realise the genius and appreciate it the way you and me are fortunate enough to appreciate now.
all his stuff is at least great, but this album totally stands out. it has every emotion from pure warm happiness to powerful sadness and everything in between. theres not a single wrong note on this entire album, by far my favorite album he's put out so far.
Great sense, great spirit, great emotion, great skill, Buckethead has it all. Simply a great song, from a great guitarist, from a great person. Thank you Buckethead.
Saddly, many talented people get really "discovered" by the people, after they pass away. As you say well, we must feel privileged to live along with BH at the same time, and be able to enjoy him performing live!
I love every part of this song... but my favorite parts are: 1. The Solo at starting at 1:53 (Of course) 2. That paused relaxing riff at 0:48 3. And for some reason, I REALLY love the bass at 1:25. Haha. I know it's random to look at a bass riff in a BH song, but it sounds cool... funky. And the end is great too... This whole album is great damn it! :D
the first time i heard this song i thought 'i wish it didn't end like this'. But doesn't this song kind of feel like an experience that went just like that? Something that became a part of your life, you had the highest hopes for, and it all ended in the blink of an eye?
i choose to cherish the bulk of beauty that i have culminated for myself and am delighted by the fact that others have done the same for themselves. cheers
buuucket pleease come to Argentina! you have lots of fans here that want to see you live at least once in our life! :( you're the best bucket no other guitarrist makes me feel so full of life as you do
the sad reality is that much of great artistic value is not apparent to everyone even during the era that it is produced and what most becomes lost over time and only that with the quality and recognition as you say survive the test of time. the beauty of art though, is that wherever you are and whenever you are, a load of great art from the ever present artists is always there to be found. continue>
all these videos talk about how he is underrated and underappreciated...well buckethead knows more than anyone the things hes done and im sure thats enough for him....hes just IN SEARCH OF making the greatest song and we are here to listen...i feel it would be a better world if more people could like but some people need vocals screamed in there face to get any kind of feeling.
i heard this track for the first time when i was tripping on acid. in the morning my bass player played it and trust me bro, there was a smile on my face throughout that day!! PS:- it was my birthday too xD
YAYY!!! another emotional album!! i was waiting for one like electric tears/colma to come out ... this one is the best out of all 3 of them too!! wow!!! :)
Wondered what Buckethead was doing since he's not touring :( Found out about this cd on his wiki page lol. Thanks for the upload, I'll probably buy this soon.
Richard Tucker, How's your LSD brain today, four years later? Is it like my cousin's, mush in a bucket? My hat is off to all who can enjoy BH without their head in an ácid...bucket.
in this bittersweet reality, perspective determines whether we mourn the loss of unattainable value or appreciate the privilege that we have in each of our unique individual pursuits of aesthetics that no other is entitled to in his or her situational limitations. we can't have everything, but what we can have is already so much more than substantial. in this day and age of convenient information flow, continue>
An unfortunate consequence to the popular notion that record sales determine how good you are. Fortunately, I'm convinced that Buckethead doesn't care about top 10 lists and will continue to make music whether he's on there on not.
where the hell was i when this thing was there..!!!! buckethead kills so many ppl he just takes their souls.... and fill his songs with it.... amazingly uncomparable with anythng i've heard so far....
It's rather obvious by the approval rating that there are many who find truth in the statement. As it turns out, enjoying the music for whatever it means to me is living with the realization that some people cannot enjoy the music for the simple reason that it will not achieve a high enough status to reach their awareness of it. There's only one reason why the likes of those such as Mozart and Beethoven have left impressions on the world; their status rose to such that it was recognized.
Actually he was in one of the top tens for shredders a while back. I believe it was for Guitar World, though not completely accurate. I mean, Shawn Lane was like 6, when he was the worlds best guitarist. Stilll though, your point is understood.
i don't know why everyone cares if the majority of the world listens to crappy music, let them do their thing and you do yours. Every fucking buckethead video i see the same comments, you swear your an elite cause your music is so much better then the rest of the worlds.
@endless1994nameless why does it matter, the man is not of this world, hes on loan from another world, another plain of existence, we must respect his music for it will be gone, he must teach another and pas his knowledge to future generations
@thepalmetto it isn't actually a tragedy due to the fact that he doesn't need to be listed on a 'best guitarist list' as all true fans of his know that there is NOBODY even close to him...
He has so much humanity and soul in his music. Tremendous talent uninhibited by being himself anonymous. Its not fair to compare him to other players. He has a very unique signature sound. he is in my top 3

Actually he did sell paintings. His brother bought a couple.
Buckethead is a gift that keeps on gifting.....
♡
This is not an album, I call it a masterpiece.
Shadows Between The Sky is excellent. I got the album last week and listen to it all the time. Buckethead is amazing.
buckethead is one of the greatest music genious of this world

all his stuff is at least great, but this album totally stands out. it has every emotion from pure warm happiness to powerful sadness and everything in between. theres not a single wrong note on this entire album, by far my favorite album he's put out so far.

Saddly, many talented people get really "discovered" by the people, after they pass away. As you say well, we must feel privileged to live along with BH at the same time, and be able to enjoy him performing live!
this is just another display of the guitar master of the last 20 years flexing his musical muscles
Nothing like a new Buckethead album. Thanks for uploading the song-I'm buying this right away.
I love every part of this song... but my favorite parts are:
1. The Solo at starting at 1:53 (Of course)

The song does not stop at 2:59. What buckethead plays after that is beyond human understanding.
the first time i heard this song i thought 'i wish it didn't end like this'. But doesn't this song kind of feel like an experience that went just like that? Something that became a part of your life, you had the highest hopes for, and it all ended in the blink of an eye?
all his music has a story to be interpreted by anyone
this is just the melodic music i have been looking for.
Just heard this song for my first time today, and I've already decided that it's my new favorite.
i choose to cherish the bulk of beauty that i have culminated for myself and am delighted by the fact that others have done the same for themselves. cheers

Buckethead rules, like all of his albums! :)

Wondered what Buckethead was doing since he's not touring :( Found out about this cd on his wiki page lol. Thanks for the upload, I'll probably buy this soon.

Richard Tucker,
How's your LSD brain today, four years later? Is it like my cousin's, mush in a bucket? My hat is off to all who can enjoy BH without their head in an ácid...bucket.

Very nice.
Great album .Of course I hear familiar pieces of other pieces but beautiful guitar work on the album

arriba buckethead the best guitarist ever!

LEGIONDARY!
THANKS FOR UPLOAD
this song is so fucking awesome. Best musician ever
bucket did his own drumming
Only one dislike!? You know the song it`s good when only one person doesn`t like it.
Actually he was in one of the top tens for shredders a while back. I believe it was for Guitar World, though not completely accurate. I mean, Shawn Lane was like 6, when he was the worlds best guitarist. Stilll though, your point is understood.

No doubt the best yo
This album is amazing!!! (Unlike the last 2)
OMG THIS IS AMAZING!! Buckethead is back with a vengeance.... holy fuck, this guy .... omfg.... I just shit myself.
@VilleSkateKrewRep I have that as well. I think it's fair to say that most (if not all) of Buckethead's gentler guitar stuff is just freaking amazing.
Bravo!
@Brentypooz I think it's steel for rythm and nylon for lead
this song is amazing is like the sound of a real diamond in the rough but it has more tecnique i like it
This song reminds me of the Playstation 2 game "Dark cloud"
i don't know why everyone cares if the majority of the world listens to crappy music, let them do their thing and you do yours. Every fucking buckethead video i see the same comments, you swear your an elite cause your music is so much better then the rest of the worlds.

BUCKET HEAAAAAAAAAAAD!
@alaztrademark she had to be crazy...why else would you split? props to her for introducing buckethead to you though.
@VilleSkateKrewRep Replay it, again and again. I've literally listened to this song over 700 times.
@crimsonflare506 yup, one of the best ive heard.... prob THE best... even the build up.. kind nottingham lace sounding, yet acoustic
The beginning reminded me of dio's don't talk to strangers
@thepalmetto it isn't actually a tragedy due to the fact that he doesn't need to be listed on a 'best guitarist list' as all true fans of his know that there is NOBODY even close to him...
@SonataArctica1212 70+ counting albums he just contributed to.
the song is epic starting at 1:55
@ofekt78 lol :) if you ever played that game you would agree it's one of the best games that ever came out
Thanks bucket!!!
I have to thank the guy I have a crush on for introduce me to Buckethead
You still have the crush?
o snap, nylon guitar.
2:15 - 2:20 wow!!
12 dislikes = 12 people who don't know true music
I like 1:25 it sounds like music for an 80s action film. :D
One person did not enjoy this song, thus he/she disliked it.
de mais essa música
